Everly's POV
I wake up when I feel something weird against my face. I slowly open my eyes and see a black Labrador puppy licking my face.

"Oh my god!" I scream, cuddling it instantly.

"Ev, they got us the puppy!" Teagal squeals.

"We did." Mom laughs.

"It's a girl dog." Jake says.

"Mom and I went out this morning to pick her up so that we could surprise you." Dad says.

"She's so cute." I kiss her head.

"She's really fluffy too. And she has soft ears." Teagal says.

"Mom says we have to think of a name." Jake says.

"I think Pickle!" Teagal says.

"You're not naming your puppy that." Mom says quickly.

"Dill Pickle?" Teagal asks.

"Absolutely not." Mom says.

"I think Oreo is cute." Dad says.

"No she needs a cool name." Jake says.

"I have the perfect name!" I smile.

"What?" Jake asks.

"We should call her Jade." I grin.

"You're kidding." Mom says.

"I love it!" Jake squeals.

"That's so good!" Teagal hugs the puppy.

"Jade is adorable." Dad smiles. "Isn't it, babe?"

Mom looks at Jake and Teagal and me.

"You can't say no to those faces." Dad smiles.

"It's a very clever name." Mom rolls her eyes.

"We can get her a green collar." Jake says.

"And a cuddly toy that's a pair of scissors!" Teagal says.

"And an eyebrow piercing!" Jake says.

"And she can have a boyfriend puppy called Beck!" Teagal says.

"Okay, let's start with one puppy." Dad laughs.

"And no eyebrow piercings." Mom says.

"Aw, Jade. You're gonna fit right in." I snuggle her.

Timeskip

Carrie and I are on set with Mom to play a small role in Dynasty. We got there early and had our hair and make up done while we ate breakfast.

Mom walks into the trailer and hands us each a bottle of water.

"How you feeling?" Mom asks.

"A bit nervous." I admit.

"Me too." Carrie agrees.
