~NOTES~
I thought I would do a chapter to clear up some of the timeline for you guys. There's no specific dates because I can't do math so just try and stick with it. This did end up as a long chapter though... Enjoy :)

Everly's POV
Carrie and I are making cookies in the kitchen.

"How many chocolate chips is too many?" Carrie asks.

"You can't have too many. Open another bag." I say, tossing the packet to her.

"You have flour on your nose, by the way, Ev." Carrie says.

"You have sugar in your hair." I say.

"No I don't." Carrie frowns.

"Check again." I say, sprinkling sugar in her hair.

"Rude." Carrie pouts.

She opens the bag of chocolate chips and they spill everywhere.

"Uh oh." I trail off.

"How we are supposed to clean all those up?" Carrie asks.

"Just pick them up while I get the first tray of cookies in the oven." I tell her.

"Uh... they're melting." Carrie says, showing me her hands covered in melted chocolate.

"Ew." I frown.

"Umm... do you think they'll notice this?" Carrie asks looking at the chocolate handprints on the cupboards.

"Wipe it up. Quickly." I say, tidying up the used utensils.

"I think I made it worse." Carrie says.

"Why did you clean it up with a white towel?!" I yell.

Ari walks in carrying Lottie and Rose.

"Oh my god, what happened to my kitchen?" Ari exclaims.

"Uh oh." Rose giggles.

"So it's noticeable?" I ask.

"Yes, sorry to say that it is." Ari laughs.

"Chocolate!" Lottie grins.

"I hope that's chocolate." Ari says, looking at the white towel.

"Yeah, it is. It got everywhere." Carrie laughs.

"Tidy it up, quickly! Liz is coming home in five minutes." Ari says, handing Carrie a mop.

We manage to get everything cleaned up before mom walks in the house with Jake and Teagal.

"Liz!" Rose smiles.

"Hi." Mom boops her nose.

"Hey. How was your headshots session?" I ask the boys.

"So good!" Teagal says.

"I smell cookies!" Jake says, hugging me.

"They'll be done in about ten minutes." I say.

"You two made cookies and didn't make a mess?" Mom asks.

"You bet, Lizzy. You can trust us to be responsible and mature." Carrie smiles.

"Why are there chocolate chips on the wall?" Mom asks.

"There's nothing there. You're seeing spots." Carrie shrugs.

"Don't try and gaslight me." Mom says, getting the sugar out of Carrie's hair.

Taylor runs in with Flyer and Jade following him.

"They're chasing me!" Taylor squeals.

"Jade, sit." I say and she does.
