Everly's POV
I'm in the car with Carrie, mom and Ariana after an event we were invited to.
"Ugh, move over!" Carrie groans, shoving me away from her on the backseat.
"You were the one who wanted me to sit next to you!" I point out.
"Only because you were in charge of the snacks!" Carrie says, stealing my packet of Haribo.
"That's so rude! I thought you wanted to sit with me because I'm your favourite!" I frown.
"Normally you are my favourite but I have to kiss Ari's ass at the moment because it was her event we went to." Carrie explains.
"If you keep this up then neither of you will be coming with me again." Ariana says from the drivers seat.
"Sorry Ari, love you Ari." I say, passing her a handful of gummy bears.
"Hey, those were mine!" Carrie whines.
"No, they're mine! And I chose to share because I'm not a bitch." I tell her.
"Girls!" Ari tries but we carry on.
"Oh sure, sure, not a bitch." Carrie rolls her eyes.
"Don't give me that attitude!" I sass.
"I'll give you all the attitude I want!" Carrie says clicking her fingers.
"Liz, help me out a little." Ari says to mom.
"How much longer have we got left of this?" Mom groans.
"Two hours and thirteen minutes." Ari sighs.
We stopped for a break and got food. We're back in the car and Carrie and I are eating our chicken strips.
"Liz?" Carrie asks.
"Carrie?" Mom asks.
"Were you a bad girl?" Carrie asks and Ari snickers.
"Excuse me?" Mom asks.
"Did you do some bad things? You swear you did it all for fun and it meant nothing." Carrie continues.
"Carrie, what are you talking about?" Mom asks.
"Thou shall not lie, thou shall not cheat
Thou shall not get caught or you'll end up just like me, oh..." Carrie sings.
"Karma's a bitch, I should've known better
If I had a wish, I would've never effed around!" I sing.
"Girls, did you both take something?" Mom asks.
"Why are you so boring, Liz?" Carrie groans.
"Because someone has to be." Mom smiles.
"Do we have plans for this week?" I ask.
"I know it's the first week of summer vacation but we didn't want to go crazy, so we're having a bbq tomorrow night." Mom says.
"With how many people?" I ask.
"It's just a small family thing, so probably around 50." Mom shrugs.
"Oh my god. Who have you invited? You litterally don't have friends except for us." Carrie says and I laugh.
"I'll have you know that most of the guests are my friends." Mom frowns.
"That is such a lie." Ari laughs.
"Who did you invite then, Ari?" I ask.
"Alexa, my mom, Frankie, some people from the studio and Cynthia." Ari lists.
"Leon, Vic and Avan are coming as well." Mom says.
"Everyone at home is starting to get set up." Ari says.
