Alpha Hanson cleared his throat. "I promise I will not take up too much of your time. For one, because I am waiting on a burger from Geraldine over there, and my mouth is already watering at the thought of it." The crowd laughed, and a few lifted their own burgers in cheers. "So, as I said, I have a few announcements to make tonight. As you know, Zeta has been here this weekend to oversee how the pack is running and to ensure that we were keeping everything legal, above board, and we were not struggling."

Luna Elysie joined him on stage and took his hand in support. "We do not lie or keep secrets in this pack. We are more than a community. We are a family, so I am going to tell you the truth. Zeta Bowie did find a few issues with our accounts. Issues that I, as Alpha, failed to notice and was unaware of." A few members gasped at this news. "Now I am not going to go into detail but I will tell you that the issues were dealt with and thanks to Zeta Bowie and his pack, we have resolved the issues and are moving forward as a stronger pack and getting back on track again."

A round of applause broke out in the crowd, and Alpha Hanson raised his glass. "Yes, we are extremely thankful to our Zeta. His visit was not all business, though. While he has been here, there have been two exciting announcements." He looked towards Tristan and Amiah. "The first is one close to my heart. As you know, I have loved being the Alpha of what I believe is one of the best packs in existence. You have been a loyal and wonderful pack to lead, and what we have accomplished here over the years is a testament to how special and loyal we are. But we know that I can not stay in power forever. I am not getting any younger, and I have been thinking about winding down for a few months now."

A round of 'aws' broke out, and Alpha Hanson smiled.

"Don't worry, I am not going anywhere yet. I think I still have a few months left in me, hopefully. But I did want to have in place, who will replace me when I do decide to hang up my title. As you know, I only took this job as our true Alpha, Paul wanted to spend time with his family. But I am pleased to be able to announce to you all tonight that my successor will be taking the title back to its true name. I would like to introduce to you all here your future Alpha of Cresent Moon Pack, Tristan Davis."

The whole pack erupted into applause, cheering, wolf whistling, and hollering. Apparently, news that Tristan was going to be Alpha was music to everyone's ears. Everyone loved Tristan, so why wouldn't they? Tristan beamed as he waved to the crowd as Hanson stepped back and gestured to the microphone for Tristan to talk. He looked a little like a deer caught in headlights at first, but Paul, who was standing next to Elysie and now Hanson, gave him a nod and a wink to comfort him.

"Good evening, everyone," Tristan smiled. Not a trace of nerves in his voice. "Thank you all for being so kind and showing me your approval of me taking my rightful place in this pack. It's funny at first I had no intention of taking the role. Like my father, I knew that family was the most important thing and now that I have found my mate," he held out his hand for Amiah who stepped up proudly and wrapped her own arms around his waist, "I thought I wanted nothing more than to have our own little family and start our lives together."

He looked out at everyone again. Thea could practically see the power and authority seeping from him.

"But I have realised this weekend that everyone here is my family. My pack is my family, and I want to do what is right by you all. I want to protect you, comfort you, and watch you grow and evolve. I am beyond proud of who we are. We may be small, but we are mighty, and being your Alpha is an honour. I know I have a lot of training to do before I am worthy but I want to make a promise to you all tonight that I am going to study and train hard and I will be the best Alpha I can be. I have big shoes to fill, but I know that with my Amiah by my side as your Luna, we can do this. Together, as a pack and a family, that there is nothing we can't do." He took Amiah's hand in his and lifted them into the air as everyone burst into applause. Paul had to wipe away a stray tear that had managed to slip out while Luna Elysie was full-on balling. Thea's heart swelled with pride for her brother. She knew he was going to be an amazing Alpha. He was just what the pack needed.
