Thea was not kidding either. After she and Bowie had scanned their handprints and stepped through the doors into the building, Bowie could see her. She was in a room to their left, leaning up against the glass and waving frantically. She looked adorable with her hair up in two plaited pigtails with baby blue bows to match her dress. She was beaming as she called Bowie's name over and over.

"Oh sure, doesn't even bat an eye that her sister is here," Thea groaned. "She only cares about the Zeta."

"She has been talking about the Zeta coming to pick her up all day," a shy voice said coming round the corner. Bowie remembered meeting this lady before, and he was desperately now trying to remember what her name was.

'Bernie? Belina? Betty?' he couldn't remember as he didn't want to seem rude.

'It's Brenda,' a sweet voice echoed in his mind and he caught Thea's eyes as she winked.

'How did you -'

She blushed. 'I could see the panic in your eyes and I guessed. Her name is Brenda, and she looks after Willow.'

He gave the briefest of nods. 'I met her the last day with Willow.' She was now standing in front of them so he smiled and held out his hand. "Hello again Brenda, apologies I was daydreaming. How are you?"

She was slightly surprised that he remembered her name, but she smiled warmly at him. "I am very good sir," she shook his hand and then smiled at Thea. "Afternoon Thea, I will just get Willow's bag and things for you if you want to head in and get her?"

"Thanks, Brenda," Thea nodded as she gestured to the right for Bowie to enter the room as she stood next to him.

He was a little worried. He had only ever visited the crèche in his own pack a few times and most of the time it was when the kids weren't there, so a room full of kids was new territory for him. But he didn't want to seem put off or out of his depth so he puffed out his chest and opened the door, and was immediately deafened by the noise level.

Not that it lasted long. As soon as the kids saw a tall stranger enter the roof, each and every one of them stopped what they were doing and stood open-mouthed looking up at Bowie. All except Willow who jumped down off the indoor climbing frame and made a beeline for him with her arms out. He didn't get much time to react as she leapt into his arms. He gave a umph as he caught her.

Even though it wasn't his child, his wolf gave almost a purr of content. For as long as Kyson had been a part of Bowie, all he wanted was to find his mate and have pups. He was a family-first sort of wolf. And the past week was the happiest Kyson had ever been. Finally, he could see it. He could see the future he wished for desperately. He could see it with Thea and Elaia, her wolf. And what a wolf she was. Kyson had never come across anyone quite like his Elaia. She was perfect, and she had the same dreams as him. Both wanted a family, wanted a few pups each and wanted to start the rest of their forever as soon as possible. All they needed was to get their humans to complete the mate bond.

"I am so excited to see you Zeta Bowie," Willow squeaked against him.

He chuckled as he held her at arm's length and knelt down to face her. "It's just Bowie to you little star," he winked at her as she smiled even wider.

"Come and meet my friends," she said happily as she pulled him by his t-shirt, not giving him much choice. She marched forward so she was standing in front of all her classmates and pointed up at Bowie. "This is Zeta Bowie," she smiled still pointing at him. "He is my sister Thea's boyfriend, but she has to share him with me because I don't have a boyfriend yet. My daddy says I'm too little."

A few of the girls giggled with one little red head squeaking. "He is your boyfriend?"

Bowie was biting his lip so he didn't laugh. "Lucky me, I get two Davis girls to call mine." He smiled between Thea and Willow as she continued.
