Thea made sure to hug everyone again, for probably the 3rd or 4th time in the last few minutes before promising to call when she arrived and jumping into the truck. She insisted on taking her own car, just in case a getaway was needed.

Paul, Tristan and Amiah were waving her off. Harper had left as soon as she opened her present from Bowie which happened to be a PlayStation game that was not due to be released for another 6 months which he managed to get his hands on. Willow was sitting on the front steps of the house, hugging tightly a large toy horse, which walked and made horse sounds which came with carrots and apples to pretend feed it. Best thing was it was large enough that Willow could ride it around the house, and it actually went a good speed for a toy. Willow was thrilled.

"You really did nail the gifts," Thea shrugged once they were out of sight, and she turned to face forward in the passenger seat of her truck. "How did you know what to get?"

Bowie shrugged. "I just listened to the girls when I met them and got a good feel for their personalities. Harper has some serious gaming skills, and she has a YouTube channel where she reviews games, so I thought she would like this pre-release game. I have shares in the company, so I could get exclusive access. Willow's gift was easier still. She loves horses and I knew she would love that toy." Bowie loved to spoil his siblings and he was just as happy to spoil Thea's. Labels and brands never mattered to Bowie, and he wasn't flashy with his money on himself so he could afford to splurge on his family and friends, something he didn't do too often as he didn't want people to assume he was flashing his wealth.

Thea smiled softly as she slipped her hand into his free hand which was rested on his lap. "Just don't feel like you have to buy things to win their affection. They adore you, and they shouldn't expect gifts every time you visit." She was watching out the window as Bowie glanced to the left at her. She amazed Bowie at her maturity. She didn't act like most 18-year-old girls. Dylan was 18 years old, and she was nothing like Thea. Amiah neither. Both girls always had their nails done their hair done, tan on their skin and a face full of makeup. They wore the latest fashion, usually dresses and skirts. They always looked their best, and it was obvious they put a lot of effort into their appearance.

Thea was naturally beautiful. She always dressed nicely, but Bowie remembered that one top she wore last weekend, she mentioned that it was her mother's from a concert she went to when she was younger. She didn't need to wear makeup, although he knew she liked to, but not layers upon layers like most girls. She only enhanced her natural beauty. Thea was happy to spend her free time with her family and friends at home whereas most girls would be out shopping or out with their friends somewhere. She was a home bird at heart, just like he was. Her motherly instincts towards her siblings was endearing, and he knew she was the perfect mate for him.

He was roused from his own thoughts when Thea sighed in content next to him, closing her eyes and raising her head up to allow the sunlight to wash over her face. "Penny for your thoughts?" he smirked as she looked towards him.

She gave a chuckle before answering. "Just thinking about your pack." she looked a little worried as she spoke, but she didn't want to lie to him.

"My pack?" He asked confused.

She nodded. "I want to make a good impression. I want them to like me and I want your mother to see me as a potentially future member of the family. I just...can't help but worry a little bit. Even though I am sure everyone is lovely."

Bowie was nodding but smiling. He knew that his mother would adore Thea. She would also be delighted that he had finally found his second chance mate that she would accept her without hesitation. But it was natural to feel nervous. He had felt nervous when he headed to Thea's home that night to explain everything to her and meet her family as more than just the Zeta. "Everyone who has the pleasure of meeting you, instantly sees how amazing you are and adores you."
