There he was. Her mate. The guy who was supposed to be perfect for her and she for him. But he wasn't currently all over her. He was all over a she-wolf. He had one hand on her chest (under her blouse) and another up her shirt.

"You like that baby?" He said roughly as he kissed her neck. She was writhing under him and moaning, gasping as she did. "And now you are going to be a good girl and get on your knees for me?" He asked.

She nodded. But he lifted her chin up with one finger. "What? I didn't hear that? What do you say?" He said seductively.

"Yes Alpha," she said as she bit her lip.

He roughly grabbed her chin again as she turned around to face him again. "I want to bite that lip," he growled. She looked a bit scared as he shoved her back against the tree and attacked her bottom lip between his teeth, diving his hand back up her skirt. "So wet for me. What a good little whore you are."

It was a bit like watching a porno and Thea blushed just seeing them. She quickly turned around as the girl got to her knees. She had seen enough. More than enough. Her heart felt like it was being ripped out of her chest.

"We will kill her. How dare she kiss our mate! Go back and bite her head out!" Elaia growled. "Claw her eyes out!"

"He is not blameless either," Thea reminded her. "Surely he can feel our bond?"

Thea headed back inside to join the party. Her head spun and images of what she had just witnessed swam around in her head. She saw Tristan standing at the bar with a glass in his hand, looking all around nervously. Thea made a beeline for him and taking the glass out of his hands, she downed the contents and handed him back an empty glass.

"Whoa T, what's up with you?" He laughed putting his arm around her shoulder.

"Trust me, you don't want to know." She laughed nervously. She looked to see Tristan sweating a little and looking around the room.

"What did you do?" Thea said, raising an eyebrow to her brother.

He paled and snapped his head up to look at her. "What? Nothing!" He defended.

"So what's happening?" She said, folding her arms.

He looked up nervously. He was trying his hardest to think of an idea or what he could say to get out of the conversation. But his sister knew him too well. He sighed. He knew he was trapped. "Ok." He put the empty glass down, took his sister's hand and dragged her off and out to the pool area. He sat on one of the lounge chairs. "I...em...I don't know what it is T, but I feel like this electricity is coursing through my body." He spoke very fast, rushing as if trying to get it all out as quickly as possible. "I met my wolf too. His name is Enika."

"That's great! I met mine too. She is Elaia." She looked to her brother who looked to be shaking a little where he sat. Exactly how she felt earlier. "Your feeling....is it like a magnetic pull?"

"Yes!" He laughed. "Exactly!" He turned quiet for a few minutes. "I think...I mean is it possible that it's -"

"Your mate?" She offered and he nodded. "I think so."

He jumped up and did a little happy dance in front of her. "This is great! My mate could be at the party. She could be somewhere inside!" His smile was infectious. Thea was delighted for him. She knew he was eager to settle down.

"There is a real possibility," she smiled back at him.

"You knew how I felt....is that because you could feel it too? Have you met your mate Thea?"

She felt awful. She didn't want to lie to her brother but she didn't want to make him think the worst of his best friend. Her smile faded. "Not yet," she replied, the guilt settling in her stomach. "But I remember mum describing the feeling to me once. I'm going off that." She shrugged.
