She kept using a nifty little spell she knew to let her see the dining room so she knew when the group were finished their meal. They must have liked it as their was not much left on the table afterwards. She began to pick up plates stacking them in the sink before arriving back into the dining room with bowls, the pies and the ice cream.
"You are quite the cook. Thea wasn't it?" A blonde asked. He looked quite young, early twenties if even. He wore a friendly smile as he watched her.
"Yes sir it is. Thank you my mother taught me." She said as she sliced up the pies.
"What is for dessert Thea?" Another asked.
"Lemon Meringue pie or chocolate fudge cake and homemade raspberry ripple ice cream," she explained.
"Music to my ears," Kyle almost sang and Thea chuckled. Someone in the group, gave a sort of growl. Thea wasn't sure where it came from but she blushed thinking she had offended or ticked someone off.
"Enjoy," she smiled lifting the last of the dirty plates and heading into the kitchen. She began to wash all the dishes before putting them into the industrial sized dishwasher to be cleaned. The pots and pans she cleaned with magic having no patience or desire to start scrubbing now.
She had just managed to dry and put away the last of them when two men came in with the new dirty plates. "That was fantastic!" One said politely.
"Thank you," the other nodded.
"My pleasure," Thea smiled beginning to wash those too. Unfortunately she had to do it by hand as the she could hear a few men behind her chatting idly to each other.
When she finished she wiped down the counter tops and brushed and mopped the floors. She hadn't meant to take so long but she didn't want to leave a thing out of place. She checked her watch to see it was only 8.30pm when she finished up. She checked the fridge and pantry one last time before heading out to the family room where the Zeta was sitting with a few of his group.
The one with the velvety voice was sitting in an armchair by himself. Thea managed to get a good look at him this time. He was beautiful. He had a beautiful face with deep blue eyes and a chiselled jawline. His dirty fair hair was sitting to perfection off his face. His stubble was just the right amount to be sexy. He was fit but not overly bulky. He was like a damn god! He took Thea's breath away and she almost wanted to jump him right there in front of everyone. What the fuck was wrong with her? She couldn't look away from him. He was staring at her and she felt herself blush but did not avert her eyes. She shook her head, breaking the stare and cleared her throat. "I have finished cleaning so I will leave you in peace. I just wanted to tell you that I have stocked the fridge with beers and drinks and I have the pantry stocked with snacks in case you get hungry."
"That is...very nice of you," the Zeta nodded.
"No problem at all. I have also left some phone numbers on the fridge in case you need them. Alpha Hanson, my father's, the pack doctor, trainer, housekeeper -"
"Is yours on there?" The god like man asked. "In case we need anything?" He said quickly.
"Um, I can put it on for you?" Thea offered a little confused.
"Please," the Zeta nodded again.
Thea walked back into the kitchen scribbled her number on the little whiteboard and headed back into the foyer. "I hope everything is to your liking and I -"
"Thea, I wonder if I might have a word with you?" The Zeta asked standing.
"I...um...sure," Thea smiled as he held her back and directed her out of the living room and down the hall.
