Thea was awoken the following morning by a bright light bursting in through her window. "GOOD MORNING BIRTHDAY GIRL!" Tristan said jumping on top of her in her bed.

"Some birthday I will have after I get out of the hospital for cracked ribs," she gasped. "Tristan you are heavy!" She managed to shove him off of her.

"You should have said please!" He said wrestling her off the bed and onto the floor.

Their father was standing in the doorway with his arms folded and a smile on his face. "Seems like even though you are both now eighteen, you still haven't matured any?"

"Never!" Both twins said in unison standing to face him. Thea took her chance while Tristan was looking ahead to shove him. Maybe a little too hard as he was flung across the room and landed in heap in the corner.

"Crap! I am sorry Tris, I didn't mean to be so....how the heck did I do that?" She said turning away from her twin brother who was still lying in a heap and looked to her father.

He looked shocked. "I have no idea. It looked like it didn't even take any force to do it."

"It didn't," she said looking at her hands. "I playfully shoved him like I usually do."

"Is someone going to help me?" Tristan called from the floor. Thea smirked and flicked her finger and her brother was levitated into the air and turned into an upright position and set on the floor standing right next to her. "Thanks sis."

"So that shove didn't take any effort?" Her father asked.

She shook her head and he sighed. "Well a werewolf usually gets their strength when their wolf comes forth."

"I thought that didn't happen until we have found our mate?" She asked.

"Usually it doesn't but it has been known to be different for some people." Her father said sipping his coffee.

"Maybe you have already met him?" Tristan shrugged. "Maybe it is someone at school?"

"Well if it is," her father smiled. "And they are a wolf, they will be at the party tonight. If not maybe it is a human boy?"

"Oh stars help me!" Thea rolled her eyes. "A human boy. Could you imagine. Having to tell him that I am a werewolf and a witch!"

Her father side hugged her. "If he is your mate, he will love you no matter what." He kissed her forehead. "Now get dressed. We have a full day of party prep before the celebrations can start. Thea, Amiah will be here to pick you up soon and Tristan you have training with the Delta this morning."

"Oh sure, he gets to train while I get tortured at a salon," Thea groaned. "Hardly fair."

They had a lovely but quick family breakfast together before Tristan had to take off for training. "I will be back later to get ready for the party. See you girls all later!" He called kissing each of them on the head as he went.

"Hello Thea," she heard and looked around to see who was there. But she was alone in the kitchen. Then she heard a giggle. "I am not a person. I am your wolf. My name is Elaia."

Thea froze. Her wolf? She was finally meeting her wolf? This was awesome! "It's so nice to finally meet you," she smiled. "I have been waiting a long time for you."

"And I, you. I am so honoured to be the wolf of such an amazing girl. Your beauty and your kindness proceeds you. And you are one powerful little being. It is my job, my destiny to be with you on your journey through life. Finding our mate and having the life that we deserve."

Thea smiled. She adored Elaia already. "Thank you Elaia."

"My pleasure. I will always be here Thea when you need me. I will protect you with all that I am."
