"Do you need a lift today, Thea?"

Thea had just stepped into the garage of the house when she came face to face with Greyson. She had been leaving the house early these last two days to avoid him, but he must have caught on to what she was doing. She rolled her eyes and tried to smile. "No," she said plainly. "I have a truck, remember? I can drive myself, thank you." She jumped as the door opened again and Amiah and Tristan stepped into the garage as well.

"What are you doing here?" Amiah said accusingly to her brother. "Come to try to break her heart again?" She stepped up next to Thea to show her support. She wouldn't even speak to Greyson at home, choosing to give him the silent treatment instead. She wasn't sure she would ever forgive him for what he did to her best friend. And she knew he was up to something now, she just didn't know what it was.

"I was passing, and I thought I would stop and offer everyone a lift to school?" He smiled his usual charming smile, but Thea had yet to even notice.

Amiah crossed her hands. "You drove 3 miles out of your way to ask us if we needed a lift?"

Greyson rubbed the back of his neck, his cheeks pooling with heat. "Well, I was being nice. I thought the four of us could drive together?"

Thea was about to tell him where to go when the opposite door to the garage opened and Kyle and Lennon stepped inside, both seeming to be in good spirits. "Morning all," Kyle beamed as he too came to stand right next to Thea. "Ready for another fun filled day?"

"In our very own prison," Tristan added.

"I didn't realise we would have visitors this early," Lennon said, almost glaring at Greyson.

"He is here to offer Amiah and Tristan a lift to school. You two alright to come with me still?" She smiled, completely ignoring Greyson, and jiggled her keys in front of Lennon and Kyle.

"I would go anywhere in that," Lennon pointed to the truck. "It's bloody awesome."

"Well, jump in," she smiled as Kyle dove for the passenger seat, leaving Lennon to sit in the back. She didn't give Greyson a chance to say anything as she started the engine and reversed out of the space she was parked in. "See you at school," she called to her brother and best friend, who waved.

"Does that guy never take a hint?" Kyle groaned as they dove. "Bowie is not going to like that he has been harassing you."

"Maybe we need to be more vigilant. Maybe have one or two guards stay down here too: just to keep watch?" Lennon said, already typing into his phone.

"I do NOT need to be guarded," Thea groaned. "That is unnecessary. I can take care of myself. Honest, there is no need to tell Bo..." She looked at Lennon, who had a sheepish look on his face. "You already did it, didn't you?"

Lennon gave a smile. "Sorry, but he told me I had to update him on everything and -" his phone dinged. "And he will have someone here this evening."

"Completely unnecessary," she groaned as Kyle and Lennon both laughed.

By the time they pulled into the car park, Greyson was pulling in alongside them. "Another day in this hellhole," he sighed. "What classes do you have today, Thea?" He asked innocently.

It still annoyed the heck out of her, though. "Oh, I have Home Ec, Maths, Chemistry and then I have a free period where I will be in the study hall and then this afternoon I have a drama piece in Mr Eccles's theatre hall."

Greyson looked like he was trying to memorise what Thea had said and Tristan looked confused. Kyle looked annoyed. "Cool, I shall catch up with you in study hall and maybe even Chemistry if I run, and I can walk you to class."
