Everyone was still discussing what was to happen to Greyson, but he was done caring now. He had a plan, and he was going to make sure it succeeded.

"Alright," he said finally after a lot of arguing back and forth.

Everyone stopped and turned to him.

"Alright?" Alpha Hanson asked.

"Yeah." Greyson shrugged. "I agree to your...terms. I will get a job. I will work and I will finish school. I will be a model pack member. I will be on my best behaviour and work hard, working my way up the ranks to be an honourable member again. I promise."

Alpha Hanson smiled. He honestly believed his son was trying to be better. "That is great, son!"

"I will ask Dan if I can work for him after school and on weekends. And....I will do my best to catch up on my school work. I may need some help, though." He bit his lip.

"What brought on the change of opinion?" Tristan asked, not convinced.

"Well, it's not exactly fun hearing the Zeta critique every single mistake you make. What's even worse is knowing that you have brought shame to your family. I know I am hot-headed, and I say things without meaning them .With Thea, with my father, I said some horrific things that I wish I could take back, but I am going to make up for. I have come to realise that no one likes me the way I was. I see Thea and the Zeta and how they look at each other, and I want that. I fucked it all up but there is still time to make it right. I have been wreckless and irresponsible. Not caring about my studies or my pack and that needs to change. I need to change. But I cannot do it alone." He hung his head.

"Oh, Thea always helps me when I have a test coming up or I need to catch up on schoolwork," Amiah said quickly. Her father gave her a stern but shocked look. "Which has never happened before and I have no idea why I am mentioning it." She quickly sat back in her chair and buried her face in Tristan's arm.

"Thea would make an excellent tutor," Greyson smiled.

Amiah blanched. "I meant that I could help you or I could ask about school for a tutor."

Greyson shook his head, leaning forward.  "Thea is top of all her classes. Who better to teach me?"

"Maybe he would be better with another tutor," Thea said shyly. "Someone he does not have -"

"No!" Greyson said quickly. "I mean...no, if you don't mind, I think you would be the best tutor for me. You are top of your class and the teachers all love you." He smiled at her.

Bowie wanted to growl but bit his tongue to refrain. He did not like Greyson, and he knew that a leopard does not change his spots so quickly. He thought Greyson was up to something, but if he objected, he would sound like a jealous boyfriend, and he and Thea had not even discussed what they were or what they wanted to be. He didn't want to overstep his mark.

"Don't you think that is a little sensitive, given your recent history?" Paul said, looking towards his daughter, trying to read her face.

'Yes! My new second favourite person in the room!' Bowie thought.

'Oi! I heard that!' Rowan pouted through their mind link.

'Mate, I am his brother,' Lennon smirked.

'And?' Bowie, Rowan, and Maverick asked.

Lennon rolled his eyes.

"She rejected me. She has clearly moved on, and I have to respect that." Greyson smiled as innocently as he could. "And we don't ever have to be alone. Amiah and Tristan and even Ned will be there to keep an eye on me."
