Bowie gave Thea a tour of the home they would be staying in and after four living rooms, she was more than a little dazed and confused and the rest was a bit of a blur. She would have to wing it later when she was on her own. As they headed out of the side door and down the steps, he took her hand in his guiding her towards an opening in the trees which seemed to hold a little pathway that led straight to the castle. As they walked Bowie was smiling happily to himself, excited to introduce his girl to everyone. Thea was beginning to panic feeling a little like she was walking into the lion's den.
Thankfully though as they drew closer, a familiar face opened the glass double doors ahead and made their way towards the couple. "Oh, thank god!" He gasped holding his chest. "I was thinking you two would be in there christening the master suite, and I wasn't sure I was going to be able to hold your mother back for long." He stopped in front of them and smiled at Thea. "Ready to meet the former Lunaira?" He wiggled his eyebrows at the girl before him. If he wasn't so fond of Thea he would have burst out laughing at the sight before him. She looked horrified. But he knew how special this girl was, not just for Bowie but for the entire pack. "It's alright," he assured her. "Maura is going to love you! Everyone is."
She simply nodded unable to speak as Bowie once again squeezed her hand and headed off towards the doors Rowan had just left from. Like the house she had just been shown, the castle was completely modernised internally. The decor was simply stunning and Thea couldn't help but look around her in awe. No one seemed to be about even though she could hear voices. But they had entered through a side door and were standing in a small hallway with a set of grand stairs just in front of them, leading up to the right.
"We are going to head up to the first floor," Bowie explained to Thea as he walked carefully looking around him as if he was sneaking. "Into my office so my family can meet you first. And so I can surprise them." He practically ran up the stairs dragging Thea behind him with Rowan bringing up the rear. They raced through large double doors in front of them and then immediately into the room on the right.
It was an office foyer. There was a large round table in the centre of the room which a large vase of very expensive-looking flowers sat on. There were several cream chaises scattered like seating areas and to the left a large oak desk. "This is Angie's desk. She is sort of like a secretary for both Bowie and me," Rowan explained. He then pointed to a set of doors to the right. "My office is through there. Not as fancy as Bowie's obviously but I love it. If you ever need me, my door is always open for you."
Thea smiled at him. He had become a good friend to her this last week. Like another Ned only more mature and more protective. "Thanks," she grinned.
"And Bowie's office is in there," he pointed ahead at the large fancy sliding barn doors ahead of them. "He has his own desk and a desk for you should you need it," Thea smirked knowing she wouldn't be able to concentrate much with such a hunk seated next to her.
"Rowan, when did you tell my mother I would be free?" Bowie asked. Thea wanted to giggle at the excitement in his eyes and voice. Like a child waiting to go downstairs on Christmas morning.
"I told her you were back and had some notes to file, but you would take tea with her at 4 pm," Rowan side and glanced at his watch before blanching. "Which was 7 minutes ago, so I am going to guess that she is on her way -"
He didn't need to finish as outside the room, they would hear hushed whispers and the sound of heels clicking towards them. "Alright," Bowie squeaked. "You head into my office love and let me get everyone settled, and then I will bring you out. Is that OK with you?"
Thea blushed. "Anything that makes you smile like that is perfectly alright with me," she quickly pecked his lips and darted into the office just in time as the large double doors opened, and two men stepped in holding each door behind him, letting Maura Campbell into the room.
