-Maya's Point of View-
"Mirei! Lin Yee!"
I hurried to their small hut and barged myself in. It was empty—as if there never was a sign of life that breathed in there.
"Mirei? Lin Yee?" I shouted once more. "I came to say goodbye!" There was no response.
I looked around more but there was no one there—only dishes of what seems to be the cups we used when I went here earlier.
Where could they have gone? Have they hidden somewhere else again? It could be— considering how there are intruders right now in their radius.
What a shame. I kind of wanted to say good bye first before parting ways. Now, I'll never know where they are. Though, I think it is for the better. In order to keep the tribes free from terror of both the Fire Nation and the Earth Kingdom, it's best that no outsiders could ever know where they are residing.
I do wish for the day where they will eventually be able to roam freely in this world, without having to fear for their life.
I wish for that day to come soon.

I hurried back to where Katara and Sokka were prepping for flight.
"Are we ready to leave? Where's Aang?" I asked.
Just in time, we heard him scream from the middle of the river, "Have a nice walk home!"
"Aang! Come on, let's go!" Sokka shouted at him.
He ran towards us and hurriedly hopped on top of Appa's head to lead the way. And just like that, we're up in the air once again—on the way to the north.
"Wait, where's Jeong Jeong?" Aang suddenly asked.
"I thought he fought along side you?" I asked him back.
"He disappeared mid fight. I thought he want back to camp," he replied.
"They all disappeared," Sokka butted in. "Not one soul was left behind in the barracks."
We all looked down at the now desolated camp that was once field with native troops.
"Where'd you think they all went?" I asked—still looking below.
"No one will ever know," Sokka answered.
"For now let's just believe that they are safe, and that's all that matters. We'll meet them again someday. I'm sure of it," Aang said as he sat down with us on the saddle.
"Aang you're burned," Katara pointed out to his burned arm. Aang looked at it as if realizing only now that he has been hurt during the fight.
"Let me help." Katara bent the remaining water in her bag to wrap around her hand. She then placed the hand over Aang's burn, took a deep breath and just like magic, the burn was healed.
"Wow! That's good water!" Aang exclaimed.
"When did you learn how to do that?" Sokka asked.
"I guess I always knew," Katara answered.
"Oh, well then, thanks for all the first aid over the years! Like, when I fell into the greaseberry bramble, and that time I had two fishhooks in my thumb!" Sokka made a sarcastic remark.
"Two?" Aang asked curiously.
"He tried to get the first fishhook out with another fishhook," I explained.
