"...You need to be honest with him. Fully honest..."

~

[Sunghoon]

I was expecting to see Sunoo when the door opened, but it was Yeji instead. And she had my orange juice. I stopped eating and shot her a confused look. "Where's Sunny at? I wanted him to bring my orange juice, not you."

She rolled her eyes and set the cup on my nightstand. "He's out there, I just wanted to come and see you!" She said it so sweetly but had an opposite expression on her face. I'm dead. "Since you decided to hurt your ankle of all things, right?"

I rubbed the back of my neck. I should've known this was coming... "well, yeah but there was a reason. It's a really long story, but an old friend came back. He was in my class," I explained a little. I was still feeling some type of way about it. "He tried to take me here after it happened and so did Sunoo, but I told him to let Sunoo take me."

She grinned. "Oh oh oh, I see. So you just wanted an opportunity to touch Sunoo, you little perv."

My eyes went wide and my cheeks flushed. Why am I blushing?! "Noona!" I shouted at her. I couldn't really say anything because it caught me off guard.

She grabbed my face in her hands and started making kissy noises, but I pushed her back a little so she wouldn't actually make contact with my cheek. "Oh come on, let me kiss it better~" she cooed at me, still trying to kiss my cheek.

I kept pushing her away, giggling a little. "I'm not a baby—will you let go of me! And keep your voice down!" I pushed her a little harder and she giggled too.

She ruffled my hair. "Oh calm your balls, I'm just screwing with you. But I guess I'm not too far off by the way you're blushing."

I scoffed and turned my face away from her. Those weren't really my intentions, but I didn't want Sunoo by my side instead of Jake. I wasn't ready for that. "Whatever, just... where is everybody? Is Heesung Hyung home?"

She nodded. "They're out there, and so is the boy... the Japanese one, what's his name?"

"Riki."

"Ah right right, him. Do you want me to grab them?" She offered.

I nodded with a small smile. "Can you?"

She shrugged. "Of course. You need anything while I'm out there."

I shook my head. "Just Sunoo."

She rolled her eyes and scoffed. "You're down so bad," she teased as she left. She giggled to herself.

Again I expected Sunoo, but only Yeji and Heesung came in. I frowned. I was really hoping to see Sunoo... "where's Sunny?" I asked. I didn't care who I got the answer from, and I was genuinely bummed about it.

Heesung looked at me seriously. He seemed upset. "You need to get it together with him," he told me. "It's obvious he likes you, and you're both just too damn stubborn to admit it to each other. What are you scared of? You've been lying to him and kind of leading him on if you think about it."

I frowned. He's right, I mean of course he is, but I never really thought about it like that. Guilt started binding up. "Hyung, what do I do?" I asked him desperately. I don't wanna lose him, and I don't wanna hurt him. What would I do? "He means so much to me that I'm too scared to do anything. I can't lose him."

"Sunghoon..." Yeji softly chimed in. She sat on the edge of my bed and rested her hand on my knee, looking at me with sincerity in her eyes. "In things like this, you need to be honest. Don't you realize that you could've probably had him by now if you would've just told him the truth?" She sighed. "You're really smart, really talented, but when it comes to human emotions and romance. Shit kid, you're dumb as hell."

I felt my cheeks flush. She isn't wrong and I'll admit it a million times. I know nothing about love. "Yeah yeah, don't start picking on me," I joked. I know she means well. "Just... where do I even start?"

Heesung shrugged. "The beginning. Where else?" He flashed me a comforting smile and gave me a thumbs up. "You need to come clean and start fresh. You need to be honest with him. Fully honest."

I gulped. For some reason the thought of complete honesty gave me the chills and made me overly nervous. I know I need to do this, but how? "Yeah... right. Come clean." I took a deep breath. "I can do that, right? Yeah, I can do this." I tried to convince myself it'll be okay, everything will be fine. But I didn't believe it.

I'm terrified.

"Do you know where he went?" I asked.

Heesung shook his head with a frown. "Nope, he just left. He might've gone home, I can ask Riki."

"It's okay," I stopped him as he took out his phone. "I can call him," I assured. I grabbed my phone and tried calling him. It went straight to voicemail. I tried again, but it was the same result. I frowned. I tried to text him but the messages wouldn't even go through. I slowly looked up at Heesung again. "Uh... actually, yeah. Can you? It won't go through."

He nodded and tapped on his phone a little. He put it on speakerphone, and Riki answered almost immediately.

"Hello? Hyung?"

"Hey Ri. Where did you guys head off too?" He asked in a soft tone. He talks to Riki so gently.

"Ah, Sunoo Hyung wanted to go home. He's taking a nap now... is everything okay?" He sounded worried.

Heesung cracked a smile. "Everything's fine, I was just checking up on you both. What are you up to?"

"Oh, I'm not doing much but scrolling on my phone. What's up?"

"You wanna go out?" He turned away a little but I could still see that cheesy grin on his face. I squinted my eyes a little—is he blushing?

"H-hyung, what are you talking about...? Out where?"

He chuckled. He's teasing the poor kid. "Dinner? Have you eaten?"

"I haven't, but what about Sunoo? I can't just leave him here—and you can't leave Sunghoon Hyung."

"Then they can keep each other company. They seem to like each other a bit so, what would it hurt?" So that's his plan.

"Uh, I'll see if he agrees. But what about Yeji Noona? Is she not there?"

"Nah," he lied. Lectured me about honesty and lies to little Riki. "But please~" he whined. He started talking in a cute tone... is he even acting like this is for a plan anymore? "I miss you."

Riki choked. "Hyung, I... okay. I'll write him a note to tell him to go to your place when he wakes up. Sound good?"

He smiled. "Yeah, sounds perfect. I'll swing by right now. K?"

"Alright, tell me when you get here."

"I will." He hung up.

"Well well then Mr. Stone-Faced, flirting with a freshman? Not what I expected from someone like you," Yeji teased. She giggled. "Sick plan though, so I'll be heading out."

I nodded. "I'll see you later." I smiled and waved her off.

Hopefully this plan works...
