"...I think I know you well enough to say that you're even better than I imagined you in high school..."

[Sunoo]
"I'm really doing it!" I exclaimed and looked behind me, where Sunghoon was—WAS?! HE SAID HE WOULDN'T LET GO! I panicked and fell straight on my ass. "Ouch..." I mumbled to myself and frowned. I suck.
"Sunny, are you okay?!" He stopped with me, and I glared at him. He crouched down next to me and gave me a nervous smile.
"You said you wouldn't let go!" I yelled at him. I'm more embarrassed than anything, and my cheeks were burning up because of it. "Whatever, I'm tired of this anyway. Best teacher my ass." But when I get embarrassed, I get an attitude right along with it.
"A-at least let me help you up," he offered in a panic as I tried to stand up on my own.
Me being stubborn, I smacked his hand away and kept trying to be independent. I know I'm gonna regret this. "You helped enough," I mumbled.
He silently stood up, and I wobbly followed. I'm not mad at him, I'm mad at myself. I can't even do this one thing right and it's making me wonder if this was all a mistake... yes I chose this place because he likes skating, but I wanted to be at least decent at it so I could skate with him too. But I suck. I started stumbling once I got to my feet, and he caught me from falling again. He held my wrist and my waist with either hand. I bet he's fed up with me by now, all I've done is screw this up and make it annoying.
But he still smiles at me. Is he blind? "I told you to let me help you," he lowly told me. He was stern, and his eyes reflected that. It wasn't a belittling stern, or one to make me feel bad. He was more... worried. "You can't just be good at it, you need to practice. Do you think I didn't bust my ass when I was a kid? That I still don't?" He pulled me into him and held me tightly. "This is what my mom taught me," he started to explain. He also started moving, and he held my hand with his free one. "Skating is like dancing. So in simple words; if you can dance, you can skate."
I looked away from him a little and felt my face flushing again. "I don't get it," I confessed.
"Just step to the beat. I already showed you how to go forward, all you have to do is that," he explained. I looked down at my feet, but he cleared his throat so I quickly looked at him. Not supposed to do that, I forgot. "My face is up here."
I sucked my teeth and scowled at him. "I know that, but it's about to be down there if you don't wipe that stupid smirk off your face."
He chuckled and continued smiling. "But you're doing so good," he praised. I huffed and looked away from him. It's annoying that being here with him feels so right, and no matter how much I try to convince myself it doesn't, it does.
I looked at him again and finally smiled back. "It's because I have you teaching me," I mumbled out quietly. I hoped he didn't hear it as soon as it came out of my mouth, but he didn't get all smug this time. He seemed genuinely happy to hear me say that... it's weird.
"Do you wanna try on your own again?" He asked sweetly. I narrowed my eyes at him, thinking about what he had just done to me. "I won't do anything you don't like this time, promise."
I hummed. "Can we take a break first? I'm getting a little thirsty and... I wanna know what you have to say," I confessed. The thought has been lingering in my mind the entire time, and I don't wanna get too caught up in the moment with him in case it's something I'm not gonna like.
