The next morning, I didn't have much time to hide any markings from our night. I hid what I could, hoping I could brush the rest off as bruising from fighting. Then soon enough, Rick, Daryl, T-Dog, Glenn, Maggie, and I all got ready to go in.

And once we were in, we were killing walkers left and right. We were in a circle formation so that we could all watch each other's backs, stabbing, slicing, killing every walker that came by.

The rest of the group at tracked as many walkers as they could to the fence, stabbing walkers through the fence.

One by one we killed them as we made our way to the wardens office, about to turn a corner, when we saw probably a hundred walkers behind an open fence. If they saw us, we were doomed.

"Shit.." Rick swore as he pushed up against a wall to keep hidden, all the rest of us doing the same.

"We have to shut that fence." I whispered.

We saw walkers walking around in heavy armor, bulletproof Vests, and helmets we wouldn't be able to stab through. Daryl tried shooting through one of their helmets, but it was of no use.

We killed any strays that came from the gate, leaving the armoured ones for later.

"DARYL!!" Rick shouted, running up to the gate. Daryl picked up, and ran over to back him up, the both of the shutting and then locking up the gate. "WE'RE GOOD!" Rick called as he locked up the fence.

Maggie killed the first guard walker, lifting it's head up and stabbing it from under the helmet. She turned to us, a shocked smile on her face, "see that?!" She asked, before we all did the same to the rest of them.

We looked around, and Glenn started to make his way to the others before Rick stopped him.

"Well, it looks secure." Glenn said.

"Not from the look of that courtyard over there." He pointed to one of the dead walkers, "and that's a civilian."

"So the interior could be overrun with walkers from outside the prison." T-Dog looked at us.

"Well, if there's walls down, what are we gonna do?" Glenn asked.

"He's right. It's not like we can rebuild the whole place." I nodded, looking to Rick for answers.

"We can't risk a blind spot. We have to push in." Rick nodded.

I sighed, scratching my neck. "I was afraid you'd say that."

Maggie pointed at my neck, "you been itching your self lately or you coming down with some illness I should know about?" She asked, the two of us lagging behind the group of boys.

I glanced at her, "uh, itchy.." I shrugged, "with stress.."

"Your gonna need a better cover-up than that." She rolled her eyes.

"Is it that obvious?"

"I'd say the whole itching your neck thing from stress would work, only issue is you never scratch your neck except right now." She shrugged, "but, I don't have any better ideas so, I dunno."

We walked up some stairs, ready to go inside the prison, and Daryl opened the door.

This was gonna take a while to clear.

----

It didn't take half as long as I expected. It was really empty. Rick found a guard with a set of keys, and opened a cell block. We found a few already dead people, weather by suicide or another person we couldn't tell, and one walker that was easy to take care of. Rick, Daryl, and T-Dog took care of the bodies while me, Glenn, and Maggie got the others, and brought our things inside.
