Carol had came in and told me not to be upset, that Daryl had his code.

I knew he did but, its hard. Having someone love you, making you feel loved, only to up and leave.

Rick had let another group join us, a group of 4 people, Tyreese, Sasha, Ben, Allen. I wasn't up for conversation so I stayed away.

And the next morning wasn't any easier either, but I was able to actually get up.

"Wait- y/n, where are you going?" Beth pulled me aside.

"Hunting." I said in a raspy tone. I kissed her forehead, and gave Judith a small kiss on the cheek. "You make sure the kids are ok, alright?" I looked up at her. "You've done so much for us, thank you." I said gently to her, then turned and walked away. It was times like these I wish I took Daryl up on those Crossbow lessons, a crossbow sounds so awesome right now.

I shuffled around in the woods for a while, getting one rabbit, a few squirrels. I was out there for hours.

When I came back in, I put my game on a table, then went on watch. I sat in a guard tower, my arms cross while I learned against the wall.

I chewed on my lip while I sat watch. I saw Glenn getting in a car. He had become irrational since what happened to him and Maggie in Woodbury. He might have been leaving there again, or going on a run for baby formula. I don't know, all I know is that he left and no one could stop him.

I looked over to the trees, saw my brother wondering around. Rick had to be, seeing ghosts or something. I wanted him to come back. My brother was lost in his mind, and he needs to find the way, and soon, because I'm sure the Woodbury thing isn't going away.

Hershel went and talked to Rick through the fence, Hershel was the voice of reason anymore. I knew sooner or later he would be talking to me.

I was just turning around, about to make my way down when I heard a gun shot. I looked behind me, seeing Axel fall to the ground.

"Shit!" I hissed, getting my AR ready as I searched for the source. Glenn would be pissed if he learned that they had come while he was out. I started fireing to where I saw people that weren't with us, but mostly I was shooting blind, shooting in the direction of where I heard people.

Then we heard a big truck, and the shooting stopped. The truck drove through the gates at the front, parking right in the yard. The truck just sat there for a while, then the back opened upx and walkers started spilling out of the truck.

I saw Hershel still in the heard and my heart sank, and we all went back to shooting. I killed a man in a guard tower across from me, and soon after that, I saw a truck driver away, and saw Glenn pull back in. We all ran into the yard, killing walkers left and right.

I covered Glenn and the woman as they got Hershel in the truck, stabbing the walkers even after they pulled away.

I ran outside the fence where I knew Rick still was, and stopped in my tracks when I saw Merle and Daryl. I breathed heavily through my nose, before walking up to Daryl. He dropped his crossbow as I made my way to him.

And I slapped him across the face. "DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA HOW WORRIED I WAS?!" I yelled at him, before pulling him into a hug as I sobbed.

"Aww, my baby brother's got himself a-"

I pulled my gun and aimed it at Merle, glaring at him. "Don't." I said in a low tone. Then I turned to Daryl again, "and you, don't you ever leave like that again."

He nodded, "alright, I wont." He sighed, holding his cheek and looking down at me.

"Jesus.." I mumbled, turning and walking to the fence. "We're letting them in. You realize that, correct?" I said looking at Rick.
