At some point in the night, I woke up, and Daryl was gone. I took a quick sweep, and saw him sitting with Carol. I couldn't hear them, but I figured they just needed time together. She was one of his closest friends, after all, and we just found her again.

Although I couldn't help but feel a little.. No. He wouldn't. She wouldn't.

I know that. But it's hard not to think about it...

I watched them for a while, before I layed down again, chewing on my cheek, not able to help but think about.. Everything. I couldn't be alone right now, and I moved to sleep over by Rick, Carl, and Judith.

It was a restless night, I wasn't able to sleep well, not without Daryl.

Soon enough, Daryl had come up to me. "Whatcha doing over here?" He whispered.

"You were talking to Carol, I didn't wanna be alone." I shrugged.

He nodded, "I was gonna go hunting, sun will rise in a few hours. You coming?"

"Hell yes I am." I said, getting up, following him.

----

We caught some rabbits and a couple squirrels, and Daryl was looking for tracks for something, but never found it. the sun had risen, and we made our way back to camp. We rounded a tree, seeing Rick, Carl, Rosita, and Michonne aiming their guns at us.

"We surrender." Daryl said, putting his hands up. I rolled my eyes, smiling a bit and shaking my head. They all put their guns down.

"We got some food." I said, glancing at the string of rabbits, then we continued to walk. Daryl went up front with Rick, and I fell behind, standing close to Carol.

"Hey." She smiled at me.

"Hey." I smiled back.

"Do you, have medicine for it." She asked quietly.

I sighed, and nodded, "yeah. I do."

"And you've been taking them?" She asked.

"Every morning, when I wake up." I nodded.

"Well that's good, gotta get your vitamins in." She nodded.

"Yeah." I smiled.

Maggie came up by us. "I still can't wrap my head around it." She said quietly.

I smiled, "believe me, neither can I."

"Do you have names picked out yet?" Carol asked.

"I'm not even sure how far along I am, names are my last concern." I chuckled.

Rick whistled to us, "keep close." He called out to the group, falling into step next to me as Daryl took lead.

"You ready to get some concrete on your feet?" Abraham asked my brother.

"I think it's time." Rick nodded.

"Thank god, I dunno if I can hike much longer." I smirked.

Abraham nodded, "that is sweet music to my ears, officer. Take the next road we come to, try to get back to going north till we find a vehicle."

"Sounds good to me." I shrugged.

My brother nodded.

We walked for a while longer, and my brother looked down at me. "You ever gonna tell the rest?" He asked me.

"I told who needs to know. The others don't need to just yet." I shrugged.

He sighed, and we walked for a while longer, before we heard a man screaming for help.
