Rick was posted on guard duty while me and Daryl were inside, not talking, but packing up gear. We decided if things went South we should be prepared for the worst.

"I'm just worried that if things go wrong, and the group gets split, I'll be separated from you." I sigh.

"If you are, I'll find ya." He promised.

We continued to pack a couple of bags, before getting all weapons and ammunition ready.

Rick had pulled Daryl and Hershel aside, telling me to stay inside with Judith while they spoke.

I smiled and held her, humming softly. Beth came in and sat by me, smiling. "Your really good with her." She said softly.

I looked at her, and smiled. "I love kids."

"I can tell." She looked at me, "do you plan on having one?"

I took a breath, "maybe. If it's what Daryl wants." I nodded.

Rick came in, and sighed, "y/n, c'mere. Need to talk to you. Alone." He said, rubbing his face.

I looked at Beth, and gently passed Judith to her. I followed Rick outside, "what's up?" I asked quietly.

He sighed, "your not gonna like this. I don't like it either." He sighed, and I crossed my arms. "But, if we give the governor Michonne... Woodbury stands down." I took a deep breath.

"Rick, what if he's lying to you." I whispered.

He shook his head, "they ain't. We made a deal. And if he is, well, I'll kill him." He promised. "But, I need to make sure this doesn't get out. I need your help making sure no one asks questions."

"Who all knows." I asked through a whisper.

"You, Hershel, Daryl, and Merle." He replied.

I nodded, "alright. Ok, I'll help but, but I don't agree with this at all." I sighed.

I was inside with Merle and Carol, I was cradling Judith, when I heard Merle speak up from above us.

"Ain't no way.." He mumbled.

"What?" Carol asked.

He shook his head, "nothing."

"What happened here?" She asked.

"We got any whiskey? Hell, I'd even drink vodka. " Merle asked.

"Merle go to hell." I smirked, shaking my head, gently laying Judith down.

He laughed a bit, shaking his head. He looked down at me, leaning on the railings from the floor above. "You care for that thing often, huh?"

"I guess, but everyone helps." I looked up at him.

"You seem like the type to have been a good mother." He looked down at me, "you and my baby brother discussed that chance yet?"

"We have, yes. But we're still on the fence about it. It's just a matter of.. Wherever the road takes us." I nod at him. "And for the record, you seem like the type who woulda been an alright uncle."

"Your quite docile compared to that night in the woods." He smirked, "That there baby's making you soft."

"Don't test me, I'll still kick your ass." I smirked, making Merle laugh again before he started heading down the stairs. I sat down at the table by Carol, who was sorting through ammo.

"Are you with us?" Carol asked him without looking up.

"Sure." He said, making his way down the stairs slowly.
