Chapter 34 - Visitor

Carl came running in, saying they saw Andrea. We grabbed our stuff and ran out, guns at the ready incase Governor showed up. Even Merle was out with us. We carefully and quickly made our way to the gate.

"Are you alone?!" Rick shouted.

"Open the gate." Andrea called back.

"ARE YOU ALONE?!" I shouted, my gun still raised.

"RICK! Y/N!" she called to us, and I nodded to my brother, who nodded to Daryl. Rick tossed him the keys and Daryl opened the gate, letting her in. Once she was in Merle shut the gate quickly, and I locked it.

"HANDS UP! turn around." Rick yelled. Here anymore you really could te he was a cop before all this.

"What?!" She asked, shocked.

"Turn around now!" Rick said, pushing her against the fence. While Rick searched her, the rest of us were looking around, making sure she wasn't followed by someone about to shoot us all down.

"I asked if you were alone." Rick said, removing her bag.

"I am!" She pleaded in a soft tone. Rick threw her bag, and we al watched her. Knelt on the ground with her hands up.

"Welcome back." Rick said, helping her up.

We brought her inside, her and Carol hugged.

"After you saved me we thought you were dead." Carol explained.

Andrea saw Hershel, and gasped one she saw his leg. "Hershel.. Oh my god.."

I sat down by Daryl, who was sitting on a table.

"I can't believe this.." She said, looking around. "Where's Shane?" Rick shook his head. "A-and Lori?" Rick just looked down, and I held my hand on his shoulder gently.

"She had a girl. Lori did t survive." Hershel explained.

"We lost T, too." I said softly.

"I'm so sorry.." Andrea whispered, and saw my nephew. "Carl.." He just looked at her, and then Andrea looked back at my brother. "Rick I.." She started, but the words didn't come. She swallowed, and then looked around at us. "You all live here?"

"Here and the cell block." Glenn nodded.

She pointed to it, "there?" She clarified, and we nodded. "Well, can I go in?"

"I won't allow that." Rick said, standing in front of her.

"I'm not an enemy, Rick."

"No but you came from their side." I said, watching her. "How do we know your not in kahoots with them to get here and kill us?"

"We had that field and courtyard, until your boyfriend tore down the fence with a truck and shot us up." Rick said to her.

"He said you fired first." Andrea said.

"Nah, he's lying. Killed one of our men. A good guy too. But you would have never ever known." I said, standing by Rick.

"He was an inmate who survived here." Hershel told her.

"We liked him. We was one of us." Daryl said.

"I didn't know anything about that." Andrea said gently, looking between us. "As soon as I found out, I came." She explained.

She turned to Glenn, "I didn't even know you were in Woodbury until after the shoot out!" She said to him.

"That was days ago." Glenn watched her.
