It's safe to say that we failed to get the house cup as we were short forty points and lost to Slytherin again. From what Percy said, they had won the house cup the last three years in a row. There was seriously some sneaky business going on with the Slytherins.

The farewell feast ensued with Dumbledore announcing the house cup and the Quidditch cup. After Slytherin got to bask in their glory over everyone's misery the food arrived and we dug in.

"So Chloe, where are you staying this summer?" George asked.

"My mother sent me a letter last week about this. I'm supposed to spend a week with my aunt Andromeda and my cousin. After that my godfather Remus is coming to visit. Then my mother said I could spend the rest of the summer with you if you're okay with that." I answered.

"That's a busy summer." Lee commented.

"I might be able to get Remus to meet you if you want. He's super cool and is really good at defense against the dark arts." I suggested.

"Is your mum coming with you to your aunt's house?" Fred asked.

"I presume she's not keen on coming. My cousin was going to pick me up on brooms. My mother and aunt aren't fond of one another." I answered.

"It's like your mum only moved you out of hiding so other people could take care of you." George remarked.

"Yeah well I like it better that way." I said cutting off the conversation by drinking the last of my pumpkin juice.

"On a side note you get to spend summer with us again." Fred said all smiley.

"Yup." I said. It probably sounded uninthuseastic but the twins and Lee always knew when we brought up my mother I tended to be pretty unenthusiastic after that.

The next morning we were all packed up and boarding the Hogwarts express in Hogsmeade station. The twins, lee and I took our usual compartment and pulled out exploding snap.

Fred and I sat back and watched as George and Lee played their game. I had stayed up late last night packing because I had put of the task for a while. My legs were propped up on the seat and Fred was laying across the other bench.

I don't recall much of the train ride as I was asleep but I woke up to someone shaking me awake. When I opened my eyes lee was shaking me awake and Cedric was standing in the doorway.

I got up quickly and exited the compartment to talk to Cedric in private since the twins would probably but there way in the conversation as per usual.

"Do you need something?" I asked.

"No, I just wanted to wish you a good holiday and I haven't gotten the chance to thank you yet for helping me study for exams." He said.

"I hope you have a good summer holiday as well." I replied.

"Well um, I'll write to you I guess." He said beginning to get awkward again.

"And I'll reply." I said sliding back into my compartment. I tended to escape conversations once the other person got awkward.

"What did he want?" Fred asked in an annoyed voice.

"He wanted to thank me." I answered plainly.

"For what?" He asked sounding even more annoyed.

"Helping him study." I replied now being annoyed.

"Yea well he should have thanked you some other time." He said.

"You can't control people, Fred. It's illegal." I added the illegal part when I remembered people actually could control others with an unforgivable curse.

"Well you dont need me to tell you another time that I don't like him so-"

"If you keep going on about this I'll go and move to Angelina's compartment." I threatened.

"At least she didn't say Cedric." George mumbled.

"Maybe I will go to him how would you like that?" I  questioned as I got to my feet and left the compartment heading in the direction of Angelina and Alecia.

Once I entered their compartment I silently sat down by the window and pouted until one of them asked me what was wrong.

"What's got you all like that?" Angelina asked.

"Cedric came to talk to me again and Fred started flipping out saying he shouldn't have come over to the compartment. Honestly I thing Fred scares Cedric more than I do cause hes always so awkward." I complained.

"So why'd you come to us?" Alecia asked.

"Because you guys don't care that I talk to Cedric." I said quietly.

"They'll forget about it soon but in the mean time you just stay with us." Angelina comforted.

I returned to the twins compartment a little while later and everything was virtually back to normal for the rest of the train ride. When we arrived at platform nine and three quarters Mrs Weasley was waiting for us alongside Ron and Ginny.

We got ourselves off the train with our luggage and greeted Mrs Weasley then we were off. We drove the blue car all the way back from kings cross to my house where they dropped me off.

When I walked into my house and began lugging my stuff up the stairs my mother stopped me.

"Pack your things for Andromeda's your leaving tonight on your brooms." She said.

"Okay." I replied. I wanted to say more but it would have been snarky so I kept it to myself.

Later that evening my cousin tonks arrived and took my luggage on her broom then we took off. It was dark so no muggle would see us flying as we traveled to aunt dromeda's.

I filled my cousin in on all the tea and she told me I was already being chased by two different boys and it was only my first year.

"I can't believe you think Fred has a crush on me!" I shouted at her in disbelief.

"Why else do you think he gets upset when Cedric wants to talk to you." She questioned.

"But George gets upset too." I pointed out.

"He only gets upset on Freds behalf. You even said he doesn't try to argue which is a sign that he's not actually bothered by it." She explained.

"Everyone is insufferable and I want to die!" I screamed into the sky.

"Preach it, cuz!" Tonks shouted after me.

This was going to be a fun vacation.
