The time of paying lee for the answers on homework had ended and the twins and I now had to fend for ourselves. exams were seven weeks away and revisions were crucial for passing to the next year at Hogwarts.

For never studying or doing my homework I new a surprising great deal of material which I had revised. I figured if I was able to make it through class with passing grades in performance I could probably pass the exam seeing as a great deal of it was hands on.

I had a two week period scheduled where I would take my transfiguration, charms, herbology, potions, history of magic, and astronomy exams. The exam schedule was reasonable and would allow me to have time to study between free days for the next exams.

Currently I was in history of magic where professor Binns was droning on through his Binder of material. I had bewitched my quill to write down everything he says so I would have notes despite not paying attention. Spells like that were hard to come by though and I had to find it in a book from the restricted section.

Fred, George, Lee, and I were silently daring each other to do something stupid to interrupt the class and the task had landed on Fred this time. I sat back and observed as Fred rolled an entire set of gobbstones to the front of the class and challenged professor Binns to a game. Unfortunately the ghost teacher didn't notice until Fred used the levitation spell to retrieve them. Fred earned himself five points from Gryffindor but I quickly earned them back when I answered a question.

I guess I was the bookworm of the class but I actually just had a copy of his notes writing themselves.

When history got out we went to the library as we had been granted a free period by professor McGonagall who was monitoring O.W.L.'s. I wasn't the most responsible in the group but I was able to sit the twins down and make them study which was near impossible unless you threaten them which is exactly what I did.

"If you don't sit down right now and study with me I'll go find Cedric and study with him instead." I threatened. The twins didn't love how I sometimes ditched them to talk to the Hufflepuff so it served as an adequate threat.

"Fine." They said in unison as they took my notes and began reading them angrily.

Once the passing period was over we made our way to charms where we had been reviewing the charms, hexes, and curses we had learned in the year. The class was marginally more entertaining as we got to hex each other today but the class passed faster than I would have liked.

I assume Fred and George may like me a little less now that I've been forcing them to study all the way up to exam week but it was important to me so they complied less than willingly.

Today was Monday and we had our very first exam of the year on transfiguration. Professor McGonagall took five students at a time into the class and tested them for about fifteen minutes before she collected the next group. I knew this because my name was the third name to be called.

We had a row of different objects that we each had to transfigure then return to their original state for the next group.

I managed to do the first three just fine but I fumbled on the last two when I was returning them back to normal. It was enough to pass the exam however and I exited with a smile on my face wishing lee good luck as he was in the next group.

I went to the library in the mean time and found Cedric alone at a table revising some notes.

"Hey." I said pulling out a chair across from him.

"Finish your exam already?" He asked as he pushed away his notes.

"I was in the first group. Anyway, you seem happy I interrupted you." I answered.
