"you three have to stop sneaking out and messing with filch and madame pince." Angelina said much like Mrs Weasley would.
"What're you going to do about it?" Fred asked as he leaned across the table.
"You gonna give us detention?" I added.
"No, but I'll send an owl to your mother." She said directing the threat to Fred and George.
"You sound like Percy." George said with a scoff.
"It's no use," I started.
"Mother's already disappointed in us. How much more do you think she'll care?" Fred finished.
"Were going home for holiday in a week anyway she'll just here the tales then." I said standing up and pushing my plate back simultaneously.
"I'm sorry did I just here you refer to your frequent trouble-making as a tale?" Alecia asked getting involved.
"Yeah." I said shortly as I grabbed George by the collar and pulled him off the bench.
"Let go of my bloody neck will ya?!" George shrieked as I continued dragging him.
"We've got to go speak to flitwick about your bad marks." I said.
"Stop acting like my muuuum!" George Continued to complain as the three of us left the great hall.
"If I was your mum I wouldn't have snuck out to eat mint leaves with you last night." I countered.
"It sounds stupid now that you say it out loud." He complained.
"Actually it was quite enjoyable. Relaxes the nerves a bit." Fred said.
"Exactly." I confirmed.
We were heading in the direction of flitwick at the staff table when the professor approached us first. He looked to be in a hurry but also as if he knew exactly why we were standing before him.
"If this is about the Weasleys last performance I assure the three of you it is no bother. There are numerous chances in the future to make up for it. Now if you excuse me." The little professor said so quickly we nearly jumped out of the way when he continued hobbling off.
"It's settled then." I said as I folded my arms looking at the twins.
"We told you it wasn't a big deal." Fred said slapping me on the back roughly.
"Let's go find an armchair before they all get taken." I said as we walked out of the hall in the direction of the Gryffindor common room.
Our evenings went like this most of the time. Many naps and frequent postponing of essays and other school assignments. Lee was slightly more responsible than us which allowed us to copy off of him. I actually started paying him to let us copy his assignments. I paid him generously for each of them and he was making about three galleons a month. For the three of us that was plenty for the average of six essays a month. I wasn't the best at math but lee was happy with his earnings.
Holiday was fast approaching and I had already begun packing for the return home. I was going to spend holiday with the Weasleys but also the first few days with my mother as was arranged in a letter from Mrs Weasley a few weeks ago.
Fred and George were getting their last jokes in one of which involved hovering a mistletoe over me and a boy named Cedric from the year above me. I had talked to him a few times in the library and he was deemed to be one of my friends though he was in Hufflepuff. The twins must have noticed this and decided to play a trick on me but Cedric kindly agreed to only kiss me on the cheek.
When I returned to the Gryffindor common room Fred and George were laughing at me. They really thought they did something there didn't they.
I got them back eventually by making them run into Angelina and Alecia while also under a mistletoe. Angelina kissed George but Alecia ran away before anyone could stop her.
