"Oy Oliver! I have information!" I announced excitedly as the twins and I sat in front of him.

It was breakfast Saturday morning and we were eating up before tryouts. We already had our gear on and our brooms were piled onto the table over the plates which annoyed everyone.

"Go on then." Oliver said.

"So I was out with Cedric Diggory the Hufflepuff seeker a few nights ago and I got him to tell me their teams game plan this season." I explained.

"Brilliant! You've practically gotten yourself on the team now. What is it anyway."

"Well I can't say it here but now that you say that I won't tell you unless I make the team." I said as I got to my feet grabbing my broom.

"Fair enough. Alright whoever's trying out for the Gryffindor quidditch team needs to come with me and we can go warm up!" Oliver shouted down the table and at least twenty older students stood up in addition to the twins, Angelina and Alicia.

We made our way down to the pitch were Oliver announced that he would be doing a fly test first. I put my gloves on and mounted my broom alongside Fred and George who kept bumping shoulders for no reason.

"Alright ladies and gentlemen we will be going round for ten laps. If you fall off or run into anything madame hootch is on standby and will escort you off." Oliver shouted then flew off.

I rocketed off the ground following after Oliver. The twins got the hint later but not quite as late as the rest of the crowd. I figured this was a test for how fast you can start at the beginning of a game. I was going at my top speed and had gone past Oliver. I was practically flying sideways as I cut around the oval shaped quidditch pitch.

Fred and George were on Oliver's tail and he was right behind me. I had the time to look back and saw some students had already gone down leaving my friends and the older students left.

After ten laps I flew into the center of the pitch and pulled back coming to a stop a foot above the ground. I stayed sitting on my broom just in case but quickly everyone else landed and we could begin the rest of the drills.

"Alright I'll take beaters first." He announced and a small group followed him into the sky including the twins.

"I've got money on the twins making it." Angelina said as she flew over to me.

"We all do." I replied as I began flying up into the sky to get some more practice in before chaser tryouts.

As I was flying up however, something flew in front of me and I instinctively caught it. It was a beaters bat. When I looked over at Oliver he waved at me and I threw the bat back at him. I threw it with all my might since they were quite far and it flew right into his outstretched hand.

The person that had the bat originally was back on the ground and Oliver had passed the bat to the next person. He waved at me once again this time asking me to come over to him so I flew up accelerating until I zipped over them. I fell backwards and stoped myself mid air right in front of him waiting for him to say something.

"Alright, hang tight after tryouts and we can get you your robes. Until then if you would keep a lookout for flying beaters bats like you were before." He said waving me off again. I was quite literally stunned by what just happened and how Oliver could have made the decision so fast.

"Hold on- this isn't because I know something is I" I questioned.

"Oh yeah. I forgot about that. You can tell me that after as well."

"Very well." I said as I dove downwards out of the crowd.

Thankfully there weren't any more flying bats but George almost nocked my head off with a bludger which managed to get him on the team too. Oliver looked like he was having a blast as he led tryouts.
