Some time had passed since Christmas holiday. Arthur had made a full recovery by Christmas day and returned to Grimauld place by the time everyone had awoken and opened all their presents. we gathered in the dining room and he was wheeled in by Mrs. Weasley.

everything after that was a blur of happiness and it was one of the rare times where i felt like i truly had a perfect family. i have found home in my boyfriends family and now my father has come into my life and for some reason i feel no reason to blame him for any of my terrible childhood. he is trying now and i know he never actually committed the crimes he was framed for.

we were back at school unfortunately. the only good thing here anymore was food, sleep and the DA. the twins had taken to skipping a load of their classes but i still went to all of mine because if and when the twins had their last straw i needed to be here to protect the students from Umbridge because no one else was doing anything and she needs to be taken out on a trip and she needs to never come back.

the twins were causing so much trouble across the school that we had a new educational decree every other day. Umbridge was the only one who had no idea who was causing all the trouble and she had begun to trust me a little too much. i had been staying quiet and still in her class for too long but she did not realize i have been planting things in her classroom and office.

Dumbledore has left the school and Umbridge was the new headmistress. one would think that would make us fall back but we had done no such thing. with the dreams Harry has been having lately we had no time to lay low so to speak.

it was the middle of the night now. i would normally be asleep right now but i couldn't fall asleep. i had a horrible feeling in my gut as i did most nights but i was not able to sleep through it this time. i got out of bed and went down to the common room with a blanket and curled up on a sofa looking at the fire that i knew to be connected to the ministry watch of the floo network. it was impossible to use floo powder without getting alerted and detained for breaking an educational decree. with the inquisitorial squad squatting about the place it was impossible to go out unscathed if i was to get into trouble. Draco and his goonies are idiots.

there was a thundering down the stairs and i turned to see Harry running into the room. i sprung to my feet standing on top of the sofa as i threw my blanket off of me. i was in pajama pants and a tank top but i didn't care. this was more important.

"speak!" i whisper shouted at him as he stood there in a cold sweat. the front of his shirt was soaked and his glasses were sliding off his face.

"Sirius." he whispered.

my eyes went wide and i leapt over the back of the sofa and ran to him grabbing his shoulders and shaking him back and forth.

"what is wrong with my father? did you see something?" i asked urgently as his glasses were shaken off his face.

"why are you awake?" he questioned and i scoffed.

"i felt like something bad was going to happen. answer my questions!" i insisted as i let go of his shoulders and shoved him back slightly. my heart was pounding out of my chest and i was almost certain Harry could see my chest thumping.

"i want to talk to him. my scar, it's burning again. the occlumency lessons from Snape are making it worse, i think. i want to tell him about it."

"Harry James Potter you nearly gave me a heart attack!" i said in his face and he flinched back.

"how do you know my middle name?"

"Lucky guess." i spat at him aggressively as i leapt over the sofa kicking my feet in the air so that i landed flat on my back on the cushy seat.
