Dumbledore was furious with the dementors from the game and sent them off the grounds which shouldn't have been something he had to do because they shouldn't have been there anyway. stupid ministry.

a Hogsmeade weekend had arrived and Harry was visibly down because he still couldn't go. the twins and i saw that he was especially sad today and we went up to the twins' dorm to have a quick chat.

"he still hasn't forged it." Fred said throwing hands into the air after he slammed the door shut.

"he told McGonagall that his family wont sign it." i said.

"you know, Harrys a smart kid but he's kinda dumb sometimes." George said.

"well aren't we all." i said as i flopped on the bed.

"come on, Chloe. say the line," Fred said frustratedly as he waited for me to say my usual line when we found ourselves in situations like this.

"what are we going to do?" i asked with a sigh as i groaned at their antics.

"lovely question, just like you." Fred said as he jumped up excitedly.

"we," George paused for dramatic effect, "should give Harry the map."

"do explain." i said as i sat up giving them an exasperated look.

"well, we've memorized the whole school and all the tunnels. if we give it to Harry we can help him find a place to sneak out of the castle to the Honeydukes tunnel with his cloak so that he can see the village instead of moping around." Fred said.

"lets get him the map before the day gets ahead of us then." i said jumping up.

we all high-fived before we added some warmer clothes to our outfits and put shoes on. once we were ready we ran out of the common room with the map open as we tracked down Harry near one of the courtyards. he was just strolling around mindlessly near the clocktower when we spotted him on the map but when we arrived there we could only see footsteps appearing. i closed the map and the twins jumped onto invisible Harry from behind. he struggled as they dragged him into the tower sitting him down on some stairs as he tore the invisibility cloak off.

"what do you want?" he asked in an annoyed tone as the three of us stood in front of him preventing him from running away.

Fred snatched the closed map from me and slapped it in Harrys hand as he looked at them with confusion. "what is this rubbish?"

"what's this rubbish he says. that there's the secret to our success." Fred said pointing at the map proudly.

"It's a wrench giving it to you, believe me." George added.

"We've decided your needs are greater then ours so were passing it along. George, if you will," I said as George pulled out his wand.

"I solemnly swear that i am up to no good." he said clearly as he taped the tip of his wand to the empty wad of parchment as red lines spread across it coming from the center of the fold. Harry took a good look as the words we knew so well spread across the parchment.

"Messrs. Moony, Wormtail, Padfoot and Prongs are proud to present the Marauder's Map?" Harry asked and i almost wanted to laugh. there was so much of our heritage in this parchment and Harry didn't even know.

"ahh... Moony, Wormtail, Padfoot and Prongs. we owe them so much." George spoke ignoring Harrys' confusion.

"Hang on. this is Hogwarts!" Harry said and this time i let out a real laugh. Harry pointed at small moving footsteps and i couldn't help but laugh even more. Harry gave me the stink eye because i was technically laughing at him but i couldn't help it when he was so oblivious to the wonders of this thirty year old parchment.
