to my blatant shock and astonishment nothing more happened for a long while of the remainder of the year except for the endless revision of notes for my Ordinary Wizarding Levels which i was expected to do very well in despite my grades since i was able to recall quite a lot of the material from my years at Hogwarts.

i still spent most of my lunches with Remus since people still thought i was the crazy one this year. its like Harry and i take turns being the talk of the school each year and we can both confirm that it is no fun.

"Come on Chloe, were headed to the grounds." Fred said pulling my arm as i was stood at a table packing my books up.

"be patient I'm almost done packing my bag." i replied as i shook his arm off of me.

"were not taking the books with us. no more studying." he reprimanded as he grabbed my arm again. thankfully i was done by then.

"I'm coming!" i groaned as i turned quickly so that he lost grip of my arm. i dodged him again and ran to the portrait exit laughing as he tried to catch me.

we raced down the halls to the grounds where the spring sunlight shone over us like a heat lamp. it was nearly summer and we had to strip off layers of our uniform to stay cool when outside. some students still wore jackets around when we were not forced to be in uniform but that was because they stayed on the shady side of the school grounds where it was still cool.

as the twins, Lee and i ran across the bridge and past the stone monoliths i caught glimpse of a pink jacket and saw a large bird being dragged into the forest. i paid it no mind but it did look awfully suspicious.

Draco had been attacked by a Hippogriff earlier this year but it didn't even scratch him all the way through his uniform let alone warrant him the use of a sling for a few weeks. he and uncle Lucius had been in contact with the school board at the ministry to try and get the creature killed or something like that and i had stayed out of it for the most part but that didn't mean i had not heard many of the nasty things they had to say about Buckbeak. i can see why whoever was stealing the large creature was doing it because i would too if i was any involved in the matter.

after we had been out for a little while the twins and Lee decided they wanted to go inside and cool off in the dungeon kitchen so they went and i told them i have to speak to Professor Lupin. i didn't really have to speak with him and if they new anything about his condition, which I'm glad they don't, they would know that now is not the best time of the month to sit down and have a chat with him.

i ran to Dumbledore's office and on the way i looked out on the grounds to see the black dog i had met much earlier in the year had Ron by the leg and was dragging him towards the Whomping willow. i stayed and watched for a moment as i saw Harry and Hermione get swung at by the lively tree. Ron disappeared with the dog beneath the roots and Harry was grabbed by one of the branches. it was hard to focus on what else happened however when i remembered that the person who had taken Buckbeak was in a pink jacket and so was Hermione.

i leapt up and down giddily as i realized they were up to something and i turned away from the window and kept running towards the headmasters office. his golden griffin door was turned up with the stairs revealed so i took that as a self invitation into his office where i pushed the real doors open and was met with the sight of Dumbledore and Professor Snape.

"they're up to something again." i said as i walked in casually but both of the men standing before me could see the excitement in my eyes.

"we are well aware that things are escalating at an astronomical rate, thank you very much." Snape said in an annoyed tone as he looked back at the headmaster.
