Wednesday Pov:
For once the gothic grey-scale cafeteria was quiet and empty. Not a single soul of a high on hormones teen could be found within the large social room as rain patted lightly on the windows as the early morning blueish-grey light spilled in. Usually, someone would find this scene depressing, but to Wednesday Adams it was paradise. For once she could hear her thoughts loud and clear without having her colorful roommate talking her ear off or being forced to sit through torture lectures about subjects she already knows about surrounded by people who she wish could stab with her pencils. Or simply destroy their pride such as the self-proclaimed Queen of Nevermore Bianca. Normally, she enjoys pain, but the amount of pain Nevermore has gifted her with wasn't the fun type, it was the annoying type. Having said that, moments like these full of loneliness made her happy even though her forever stoic face never showed it.
Currently, Wednesday was mentally going through everything that has happened in the past few days trying to see where she had messed up or missed in the monster case with Rowan. She knew she saw him die- the glasses in the forest confirmed it. But it left the question of who was the Rowan she saw the next day after the attack? And where had they gone? These questions were always followed by theories on why the monster saved her and how was she connected to it and the tragedy that was going to be caused by her. The only lead she has at the moment was the school club called the Belladonna which was disbanded long ago.
Thing just had to lose sight of "Rowan" didn't he? *sigh* This case continues to get odder as the days go by, not that I ever back down from a psychological challenge but this is something. ... She pause her train of thought for a second as she mentally remembered the vision she had when she bumped into Rowan at the carnival before his death. Everything in the vision made sense in terms of what it meant: the tree burning was the tree located in the school's common area which meant destruction. The boy getting torn apart was Rowan which meant he was going to die due to how intense the attack appeared in the vision. But the black dagger with a black rose on the hilt embodied with thorns being used by someone with huge batwings that stood with their back facing her as their Y/H/C was soaked in blood is what was ticking her off. That monster didn't have wings nor did it look human. Whoever that was isn't the monster but they play a role in this twisted game if they appeared. But what is that role?
Before the ravenette could continue with her train of thought a cheerful voice smash the peaceful silence of the cafeteria where she ate. She didn't even need to turn around to know it was her hyper roommate Enid.
"WEDNESDAY WEDNESDAY! What are you doing here!?" shouted Enid as she ran to her monochromatic roommate.
"Enjoying the silence," Wednesday said flatly as she sighed, so much for paradise.
"Roomie, how could be eating at a time like this- come on!" said Enid as she used her werewolf strength to yank Wednesday out of her seat towards the door. "We can't miss it! Oh my god today is going to be amazing!" squealed the blonde.
"Where are you taking me? The competition isn't till the afternoon after school. I see no reason for us to be heading outside. I have already taken the measures to secure our victory." Wednesday stated.
"It's not about the Poe cup- buuuut it does have to do with Bianca not being the center of attention! Remember what I said about Bianca when I gave you the school tour?"
"No" Wednesday said flatly as she rolled her dark eyes. Enid only chuckled and told herself out loud that she must have forgotten since the lot of information was given to her in a short notice about the school during her first hour there. Wednesday didn't answer.
