Y/N's pov:

The past 3 hours have been nothing but a whiplash ride with a broken bar that kept cutting into your forehead no matter how many times you tried to dodge it. First, Wednesday telling you to stay away from her for the weekend then seeing her uncomfortable interactions with her family. Second, your Godfather being here followed by the third reason of a potential war breaking out which has a strong connection to the case you were solving. Based on the information you already had, it was clear that the fall of Nevermore was going to be the official declaration between Outcasts and Normies. Fourthly, the latest news on the Doctor committing suicide in the morgue. Sneaking into the scene via shadows you found his letter stating his regret in a past case that oddly involved Wednesday's father. Worry dyed your stomach, knowing the sheriff he was going to forget the monster and focus on Wednesday's father for he was apart of a case he failed to solve. Great, now my suspicion on the Sherriff have rocked shooted up even more- he has beef with Wednesday!

Scanning through the reports you couldn't help but also sniff around other reports the police department had while they were distracted with the current predicament.

Elvin can handle the current situation, you think as you glance through the open door of one of the offices. Down the hall, the sound of many officers talking and cameras flashing drowned your light shuffling. Your human spy was one of the loudest with his camera, making sure the flash was at it's brightest to shock and disorientate the others.

Turning through the pages you stumble on a particular one. Squinting at it the words "arson", "cave", and the coordinates catch your eyes. Well, well, well, looks like someone was trying to use the dance and Eugene's attack to hide something from the team. He probably missed this since to all the chaos that weekend.

Slipping the file that now contained the fifth whiplash event into the shadows with you, you move through the darkness till you reached a corner that allowed you to see a shadow on the outside. From there you ran back to Nevermore as if nothing happened.

"Welcome back!" states your Godfather, scanning through your evidence. "Whatcha find kiddo?"

"A particular suicide and a case of arson that has too many coincidences to this case." You hand the file to him. He nods and places it in his suitcase's hidden pocket.

With that, you both head out of the room and head down to the courtyard for food. Throwing a hand over your shoulder, he tells you through his touch that everything will turn out find. With you, him, and his son Edgar- no harm would come to the court or the Outcast. Not while the Vampirc court still existed along with the Lycanthrope clan.

As you walk through the halls and in the courtyard you could sense someone studying you from afar.

Morticia's POV:

Walking through the hallways, a wave of demonic energy hits her softly like the waves on a beach after a storm. Looking around she sees only two figures walking down the hall. One a tall man and the other a girl who appeared to be a few inches taller than Wednesday. The way they both carried themselves they were clearly Vampiric nobles of high caliber, especially the girl due to the lack of sunglasses. Stating she had royal blood. And if the man next to her could get physically close to her, it meant he was just a level below her even though he wore glasses.

So, you the crow's master. A smile appears upon her black lips, The Earl of Vampires- Y/N L/N. Why do you look so familiar? Where have I seen you in the past? Or who do you remind me of?

Reaching the courtyard you walk past Wednesday. At first glance, it would seem you both didn't talk to each other but the way Wednesday's pinky twitched when you past her and how you glanced briefly at her with longing it was clear as day both of you were hiding something from everyone. Truly showing how overacting can ruin one. The crow only made the fact 100% clear when he made a sighing motion, clearly frustrated with what you guys were doing.

You truly are a miracle worker Y/N, you made my little spider fall for you.

Wednesday's pov:

Just like you, Wednesday was having a day full of whiplashing revelations. However, the latest made her scratch her head and demand her parents to confess what they hid. Just after leaving the hospital she saw her mother in the graveyard leaving a rose on a gravestone on the very name of the man who her father supposedly murdered- Garret Gates.

"You're not hungry darling?" asks her mother innocently as she fills her plate with food. Her father glances at her with hope that the tension from earlier would disappear like the fog. However, his hope was quickly squished like a bug under her shoes.

"My appetite alludes me, mother." she glances at her, glaring into her black soul, "Just like the truth alludes you."

Walking away she sees you just a few tables away sitting at a table just for you and a few of your Vampiric court. Next to you is a man who she presumes is your parents' assistant due to how close he was to you. He must have known you since you were a child due to how confidant and comfortable he was around you unlike the other parents of your friends who's sunglasses failed to hide their fear and nervousness. They weren't the only ones, other Vampires like Yoko's father looked like he was about to die even though they were tables away from you.

Your gorey reputation is truly an achievement I hope to bear one of these days my dear Earl, she thinks, tearing her gaze from you. Her mother sits at the head of the table and glances over at her. Her dark eyes were dissecting her, hoping to find a hint of change. Glaring at her, her eyes told her that she would find nothing.

"Gomez Addams!" shouts the Sherrif, stalking towards their table. Her father stands and welcomes the sheriff who only answers by cuffing him and telling him his rights. Her brother panics and calls out for him while her mother stands there and begins to drown in her emptiness for a piece of her is taken. All Wednesday could do is look back at her mother in silence before glancing around the courtyard.

From afar, you begin to make phone calls, Once in a while you glance at her and mouth 'it's going to be okay' or 'you had it'. The man next to you followed your eyes and smiled at her while nodding a 'no', It was clear that he had figured out that both of you were dating and would definitely report this to your parents. So, much for a first impression. So, much for not getting you involved.

Hiding too many things at a time will only cause an overspill. Should've known this! Biting her lip as she walked through the dark halls as Atredis followed her to her room from afar. Once she opens the window the demon flies in and squawks, asking for orders.

"Tell your master not to engage in this- we'll be caught by our enemies."

"Too late you that," you say, leaning on the back wall of her room with a bloody nose. "Don't worry I have an illusion playing my role. I have a few minutes to spare."

"So tell me my love, what grave are we digging up tonight?" you sink down on one knee and grab her hand, a mischievous smile paints your lips but worry smears your eyes.

With a sigh of frustration she accepts your help, "Get me to my father, there is something I need to ask him."

You kiss her knuckles and get back up only to lean your forehead against hers. "Your wishes are my commands."

If it weren't for the urgency she would've kissed you. Instead, all she could do was look away from you to avoid diving into her desire. But kept the contact.
