Very long chapter
Y/N pov:
Once the celebration of the Black Cat's victory in the Poe Cup and after settling back down in the gothic school dorm once again, you found yourself walking down the creaky halls of the Ophelia hall with two bouquets of flowers resting peacefully in your left hand.
Both bouquets were simply a quiet display of power for both bouquets were stuffed elegantly with summer flowers- tulips. If anyone was to see you walking down the dusty hall they would know the firework of bright colors was for Enid for the werewolf adored bright and warm hues alongside being extremely extra. Enid's gift was so huge that it buried the small and simple black tulip flower bouquet you had for her roommate, the infamous Wednesday Adams. Unlike Sinclair's, Wednesday's only had 3 tulips over 20 that pop out from the curtains of green and snowfall of baby's breath.
As you got closer to the door you knew so well you heard aggressive clacking from what sounded like a typewriter. Yet at the same time, you heard another pair of hands tapping over the typing.
There's that tapping again. Was it you little raven that sent a spy on me? You stop in front of the door before knocking as you glance back at your demonic crow Atredis who simply nodded before disappearing in a poof of black feathers. His crimson eyes burned into your mind. His sharp gaze was telling you to stay vigilant.
You're becoming more suspicious by the second human you thought as you knock on the door. Let's see how sharp you are.
Soon the clacking came to an abrupt stop that was followed by a frustrated sigh. The wooden door swung open aggressively revealing no other than the gothic girl you were targeting. The very girl who seemed to be practically dead inside out due to the lack of emotions she normally showed. But you knew she was alive thanks to the deadly glare she was stabbing your body with.
She was about to say something but a loud slam within the room cut her off. The sound vibrated through the dorm room down the hall as if it was a old church bell. The jet-black teen closed her eyes as his grip on the handle went from a gentle grasp to a choking grip.
"Sorry, I didn't mean to take you away from what you were doing-"
"Do you now? If you did you would hand over Enid's flowers to me and leave immediately. Or simply leave them outside the door." she snarked in a serious tone.
"Leaving them outside the door would be improper. I believe you got the same education as me so you must know that we only do such thing as a last resort. The proper thing to do is deliver the gift personally to show that you truly appreciate the person to take time to see them. It shows people you care for them." you huffed as you titled your head "Plus I heard you typing from afar which indicated that there was indeed someone in the room. I much rather leave the flowers on her bed or desk than at the door way where they can easily get ruined."
"And what makes you think that I wouldn't ruin them?"
"Simple, your actions today beg to differ from what I've been told"
"Never thought the earl of the Vampirice court would listen and believe what others tell them instead of finding out for themselves." shot Wednesday. Her eyebrows went slightly up. A normal person wouldn't have caught it but if it weren't for your trained military apex predator vision you probably would've missed it. This would be the second time you see emotion on her pale thin face. The first being the look of terror her eyes held when ypu caught her when she fell when you arrived.
You leaned slightly closer to her before you countered her attack, a small smile appeared on your face, "Never did I think Wednesday Adams would care what people think of her. I thought you wanted people to see you as the emotionless girl you are, no?"
