Wednesday's POV:

Last night was a shit show. She would never say it out loud because it would prove that you were rubbing off on her but that was the best way she could think of describing the birthday. A shit show.

First the surprise birthday party, the painful conversation with Goody and her rejection to train her, to the vision of the next clue followed by a dark future involving you, and lastly, waking up and seeing the very woman she was suspicious over close to you, tempting you and trying to get you against her. To make matters worse she found out that you both had history- romantic history.

Where is that place in her vision? Would that hold the key to solving the case or leading Wednesday to do whatever she did to make you the way you are in the future? What happened between you two? Why is everyone dead? Why was Evelynn of all people next to you? Why were you appearing like a ruler? Could it be that you become Evelynn's consort- a consort of the princess of hell?

Yes, after the demoness left she demanded answers out of you which you gladly gave her while telling her multiple times you weren't doing anything with Evelynn. Once you explained who Evelynn was and what she was to you, you turned the table on her by asking what she saw. She lied by saying she saw Goody's death but felt like she was the one dying. She wasn't lying in a sense. She did see her ancestor and she herself- Wednesday- was dying in the vision.

Your face dropped a bit, you didn't believe her but the hurt on your face was like you were being betrayed and something you didn't want to be true was becoming a reality. You kept pushing for her to tell the truth but she pushed harder by walking out of your room, telling you to leave her alone. Staying the night in Eugene's bee house to sort through the evidence. Connecting her vision with her past ones involving you and the case. Nothing really came out other than her confirming the crown on your head was indeed the one she saw in the second vision she had of you.

"You will only see the darkness within people" Goody's words haunted her. Making her question your true motives. Did you really want peace and coexistence or was that away to get people outside of your kind to follow you? Or was it someone else controlling you due to seeing Evelynn and the calamity of war Hua Cheng behind you? Now in her room, she forced herself to focus only on the information she could figure out which was the gated place Goody told her to look for. "Don't blame Thing, it was all my idea. Everyone deserves to celebrate their birthday."

"I prefer to be vilified," she states not looking at Enid. Too scared that if she did she would go back to the questions involving you.

"What happened? You look like you were having a seizure and then fainted." Enid's voice drips with worry

Pausing she tells her she wasn't lucky. It was true, Goody didn't provide her with what she wanted Only gave her suspicion. Maybe she was right. She's destined to suspect of people, even those who are shine like the sun. Slamming her hand on the table, Wednesday concluded she wouldn't be able to get her answers nor focus in her room. Enid would only remind her of what she was avoiding. With a abrupt response to her colorful roommate, she left, only to find herself in front of the burnt lawn. Something fresh to keep her mind off the vision. There she stood with Xavier annoying her and getting defensive like always.

"If your still hellbent on speaking to me at least answer this- why do you hate the Earl so much?" Wednesday turns slightly to face his shocked face. Running his hand through his hair he looks around to make sure no one is close enough.

"My cousin used to be one of her followers. It got her killed. If you really should be suspicious of someone you should be suspicious of her, not me," with that he left fuming like always. His words brought no comfort to the goth, it only gave tainted the image she had of you in her heart.
