Wednesday:

Never in her life had Wednesday wanted to kill someone but also herself at the same time.

After you left, Enid almost ripped their room's door off the hinges and nearly crushed her bed for her date with Ajax was a disaster. He never appeared, leaving her alone in the cold winter night, making her feel like the Corpse Bride instead of Juliet as he claimed through sniffles and sobs.

Thing patted her back as Wednesday looked through her toolbox for the nail gun she promised to use. However, it was through those sniffles that Enid pick up your smell, making her catapult Thing across her end of the room once she registered your scent.

The entire night she kept digging for information on why you were in the room. The only way to get off the topic was to remind her of her date which would lead to a loooong tangent of her cursing Ajax and every Outcast man who has ever existed. This would then lead to her concluding she should give up on finding a male mate and instead look for a female one, causing her to once again bring you up by staying Wednesday's date was more successful.

Eventually, she fell asleep much to Wednesday's relief. Much to her fear, she woke up bright and early to walk with the gothic girl to breakfast, chirping nonstop about you. Matters only got worse when she saw the staff put up posters to the school dance that would be in two weeks.

Thanks to Enid's mentioning your scent, Wednesday found herself yet again up late thinking about the conversation you guys had. Much to her shock it wasn't the one about the case, it was the one about the acts of revenge you both have done.

The in-depth details you told her about the interrogations you have done made her metaphorically dead heart beat fast. But it wasn't in the speed that it would march to when she was in a near-death situation- no. This tune was light and smooth like the nocturnal waltz by Johannes Bornlöf. At times her heart would pick up its pace just like the piano whenever your Y/E/C eyes bore into her's whenever she was talking or not.

Her heart would dance within her ribcage each time you ask her a question or when you would get excited about her asking one.

No matter how much she tossed and turned, and even tried to suffocate herself with her pillow, she couldn't get the images out of her mind or the fact that you also found torture entertaining. Not at the same level as her but nonetheless you didn't cringe at her descriptions like others did. Heck even her own brother would be terrified of her tactics! Thing and her Uncle Fester where the only ones that would flinch at her ideas and methods. But Thing wasn't a complete human being and was by her side ever since she was a baby just like her Uncle Fester was. They didn't truly count. Plus, she barely saw her Uncle.

Eventually, she tried to claw her chest in hopes to stop her heart from beating in hopes the memories would disappear like smoke. To her fear, it didn't work, her heart disobeyed her and would beat faster each time her rebellious mind thought of you again. It felt like you were trapped in her like a broken arrow.

I'm going to kill that stupid Vampire when I see her the human girl thought, sitting down at the table with her book.

"Are you guys seeing each other in secret or something-"

BAM went Wednesday's book. Glaring at the wolf girl. The colorful blonde took that not only as a sign to shut up but also as a confirmation. A toothy smile poked the tips of her lips.

"Whatever you're thinking about, cease it immediately for this isn't one of your K-dramas or whatever those are called-"

"AWWWW you do listen to my rants!" squealed Enid, leaning towards the monochromatic girl to give her a hug. Wednesday gently slap a hand on the blond's forehead to stop her from doing so.
