Y/N's POV:

The cold November air played with your hair as the soft drizzle tickled your face, hoping to draw an actual smile on your face. But it was failing for your focus was on the road leading to the school. You could hear the police escorts cars and paparazzi cars with their clicking cameras entering your hearing field.

"Get ready. He'll be here in 10 mintues. The escorts are determine to avoid the media from getting a picture of him" you state, taking a drag of a cigarette. To think you drove me back to this shit Addams.

"Hope he didn't forget anything like always" Y/B/F/N says, trying to muffle a laugh. A small chuckle puffs out of you. Dimitri may. be considered your equal in many things but when it came to remembering to pack everything that was needed he always would forget something. Even when his team told him they could pack he wouldn't let them for he wanted to prove he was responsible. However, he always failed. In Sweden he had forgotten his toothbrush vs in Tokyo for the Olympics he had forgotten his pass!

Y/B/F/N kept the conversation going, skillfully avoiding the marriage proposal between the two rulers and the situation with Wednesday. However, you only gave her short answers or nods because your mind was swarming with those very ideas: The two species unity through you and Dimitri's marriage, Evelynn's words about the marriage and offering her own proposal, Wednesday's attitude, and Wednesday keeping information from you. You still wondered what Wednesday found with Xavier. Yes he did have a neck injury but it was on the right side and not left. The left side is where Atredis clawed.

Of all the times a stupid injury needs to be found immediately it hides so well. Dammit Atredis you couldn't have broken it's leg in a specific way?

Letting out and irritated sigh and throwing your cigarette on the ground you stand up straight for Dimitri was arriving.

Soon black tined cars surrounded by the blaring lights and sirens of police cars and motorcycles arrive. Once they stop, one of the black cars stops in front of you. Soon a tall boy with dirty blind hair comes out. The loose sweater he wears doesn't hide his well built form for the neckline teases viewers like his clear blue eyes. The red scar over his left eyebrow only added to his attractiveness than take away from it.

"You still look like a hooker." You say blandly.

"And you got uglier." He said stopping a few feet from you, mirroring your emotionless face. After a few seconds of silence, you both began to laugh like idiots and hug each other.

"Thanks for allowing me to use you as a ticket to sneak out." He said, a hand still over your shoulder as you guided him through the halls. You lift an eyebrow at the small nose scrunch he did when he said that. He was clearly lying. "I really needed it".

"Nonsense, you're helping me." You were referring to the fact that you needed a second pair of eyes on the case. Dimitri's biology was more advanced than other werewolves due to being of royal blood- descendant of the first. His sense of smell was 100× better than Enid and any others.

As you both walked through the halls, students moved to the side with wide mouths and whispers about how handsome Dimitri was, how close you both seemed, and how both of you looked good together. At those comments, you cringing a little on the inside. You could see Dimitri doing the same thing from the corner of your eye.

Enid's reaction was a shocker. Enid, a girl who was faithfully developed to ships and gossip had a face full of fear and anxiety. Waving her hands as if she had struck a table accidentally and was trying to get rid of the pain.

Lifting an eyebrow to question her if she was okay, you immediately got your answer. Wednesday was behind her and had moved to be next to her. The moment those darling blackout eyes absorbed sight, anger dragged her away.
