Just then Sally walked by. She was starring me down until she sat down and sulked in a corner.

"You know. I had the strangest dream last night." I said, trying to change the topic but Liz wasn't having it.

"Y/N!" She said loudly.

"Okay, okay. So this is serious. But I'm not getting it." I said and took another sip of my drink.

"Alright." She said defeated, "But promise me that you'll be careful." She said and put a hand on top of mine.

"Of course! Besides. If anything happens, you'll know where I am!" I said and laughed. But she looked even more worried than before. And I could hear Sally laugh from behind me. But as soon as I looked in her direction she stopped.

"You'll better get ready. She'll be back soon, and she doesn't like to wait." Liz said and hugged me before I left.

I went to my room and ran into James. "Hello again, my dear." He said and bowed a little bit.

"You're a real night owl James." I said and smiled.

"What are your plans for such a fine night?" He asked politely.

"Well, I just met your ex-wife a little while ago and she inveted me into her appartment." I was about to comment on her imense beauty but realized that it might be inapropriate.

"Oh. She's quite the sight, is she not." He said, which surprised me but of course I agreed. "And she's got taste, I gotta hand that to her." He said and chuckled.

I felt my cheeks redden and smiled. "Well, I better get ready. Don't want to look so mediocre in such a prestige place." I chuckled.

"You, my dear. Could never look mediocre." He said before he bowed and left.

I felt flattered by his comment and went to my room to get ready. I took a quick shower and then stood infront of my closet. "What could I possibly wear, that wouldn't make me look like a peasant?" I though out loud. Then I remembered what the vintage piece I had bought and settled on that. I just finished getting ready when there was a knock.

I opened it and there stood the countess. She looked even more stunning than before and she smelled amazing. Even if that is a weird thing to think.

"Shall we go." She asked and I nodded. "How long are you staying?" She asked as we stepped into the elevator.

"A couple of weeks. I just needed something new." I said and smiled. She felt so familiar, all the pressure from before was leaving.

"And how do you like it so far?" She asked.

"I think I love it. I already told James, but your hotel is the most beautiful and comfortable place I think, I ever stayed at." I said with a big smile.

"Ah so you already met my ex-husband. And you call him James, too. How interesting." She said with a sly grin.

"We are room neighbors, after all." I said, trying to justify my knowing him.

"Yes." She said and smiled at me again.

The elevator dinged and she stepped out into what felt like a different world. Her appartment was ,ust more modern than the rest of the hotel.

"Wow." Slipped out of my mouth.

"Do you like it?" She asked and opened the door to another room.

"It's so different!" I said exitedly and followed her into the other room.

She sat downon a bed and patted the space next to her. "You know. James would love that outfit." She said and touched the fabric close to my chest.

"You think so?" I asked and looked straight into her beautiful eyes.

"Absolutly." She siad and came closer to my face. "I think he already like you, quite a bit." She said and kissed me.

It took me by surprise but it felt too good to stop her. I could feel her, touch my hair and tug at it a small bit. I opened my eyes, as we parted to catch some air.

"I can see why. He does have impecable taste." She said and liked her lips.

"Funny. He said something similar about you." I said and chuckled a bit.

"Oh. So he knows of our little meeting then?" She asked and smiled.

"I ran into him, when I went back to my room." I stated truthfully.

She laughed and smiled. Then things led to another and suddenly we were on her bed. Skin to skin, kissing and breathing hard.

"I have an offer to make." She said after one extremly passionate kiss.

"Well, I'm listening." I said and clung to every word that left her lips.

"I grant you eternal life. You could really glow, like me. Rule this place and its residents. You wouldn't be invincable, but still ."
