After we fed, we retreated to the countess' apartment. I opened the doors for her and was greeted with a young man with a jaw-line for days.

"Who the fuck are you?" He spat at me, but didn't bother standing up.

"Donavan. Be nice." The countess said in a non-chalant manner.

"Hi. Donavan... I'm Y/N." I said and gave him a little wave. "Well. I guess I'll better get going then. Don't wanna be like in ehm...your way." I said very unsure of the relationship I had stumbled into.

"Nonsense. Donavan has his own apartment right next door. If he's bothered by you, he can leave." The countess said sharply.

I looked over to Donovan who seemed very angry, but also kind of hurt.

"Oh... I. No. I think I should give you guys a bit to yourselves. If you need anything you know where to find me." I said and went back the way I came.

I decided that now, was the perfect time for a chat with Liz. Thankfully I caught a glipse of myself in the elevator. The lower half of my face was covered in blood. It didn't look very appetizing, so I decided to stop by my room first, to get cleaned up.

However, I met James on my way to my room. I was a bit ashamed of how I looked, so I tried to hurry past him before he really saw me. But he was faster than I anticipated and greeted me.

"Good evening Y/N." He said, sweet like always.

"Oh, hello James!" I said and hid my face from him while opening my door.

"Is everything alright, dearest?" He asked as he inched closer.

"Yes. Yes. Everything is just fine! Don't you worry!" I said quickly but James wasn't convinced and he put his strong hand on my shoulder.

"Then why won't you face me Y/N? Have I upset you?" He asked. God why does he have to be so cute and caring.

"It's not you! I just don't want you to see me like this. I don't look very good right now." I said, but I could still feel his hand on my shoulder.

"Don't be rediculous Y/N. Unless, are you sick?" He said and I felt him slowly retract his hand.

"Well. Kind of I guess. But... just give me a second to freshen up and I'll be out in no time. Ok." I said stumbling over my own words.

"Very well. I won't push you. If you want to, I'll be next door." He said and left.

I hurried inside and to the bathroom. I splashed water into my face and after a while I looked like nothing happened. Except, my clothes had also been affected. I got undressed and layed them into the bathtub to soak. "Oh please. How will I ever get these stains out!" I cried to myself.

I changed and went over to James, so he'd stop worrying.
