I got him to spend the night on the couch. It was the least I could offer besides my support.
The night came, and with it, a sudden change in Donovan's demeanor.

"Let's get dressed. We're crashing that stupid fashion show!" He exclaimed and made me get dressed in something phenomenal. We then went to his apartment and got ready there.
Elizabeth was nowhere to be seen. It's like she was watching from the shadows again.
We got ready and descended to the lobby where the show had been set up.
There were many seats, and almost all were taken. Elizabeth sat beside a different man.
"That's her new Fiancé. She'll kill him once his money is hers." He said and scoffed.

We talked some more, but were disturbed. We turned our heads and saw Sally. She was talking to a security guy.

"This is a private event." He said, and her face contorted.

"I live here!" She yelled, and the guy obviously didn't know what to say.

"Sally, why don't you sit down over there." I said and pointed to one of the empty chairs.

"I don't need you to tell me what to do." She wept and quickly dissappeared into a dark corner.

"Leave her." Donovan said, and we continued our chit-chat until the show started.

Out came one model after the other, and it looked sort of professional. That is until Tristan came out. He was on god knows what and made a complete idiot out of himself. It was embarrassing.

"Looks like he did our job for us. Let's get out of here. It reeks of entitled assholes." Donovan exclaimed sort of loudly. We walked to the elevator and caught Elizabeth staring at us, so naturally, we flipped her off just before the doors closed.
