"Is there anything else I should know about him?" I asked and she smiled.

"The laundress is in love with him. Always has been, be careful." She laughed.

"Thank you. I still have so much to learn from, and about you. Good thing we have all of eternity for that." I smiled and walked to James' room.

I knocked and when the door opened I smiled at him. "Hi."

"Hello." He said and smiled.

"She explained everything. But still, I stand by what I said." I sighed.

"Very emotional of you, but I guess you have the right to have your own opinion." He chuckled.

"Very funny. I was told another thing, that you probably have no clue of. Where is ms Evers?" I asked.

"I have no idea. Probably washing the linens or something like that." He said mindlessly.

"How long have you known each other?" I asked and sat down.

"A long time. She's always been a great help." He said with a smile.

"I bet. She's in love with you, James." His face fell, as I said that.

"That couldn't be." He said completly bamboozled. I nodded my head and he sighed. "I had no idea." He said. "I'll tell her that there is never going to be anything between us." He said and before I could intervene he called out for her. "MISS EVERS!" He yelled.

The second her name left his mouth she appeared. "Yes mr. March. How can I be ofuse to you, sir?" She asked and oh god, how did he not notice?

"Miss Evers. You've been more than a laundress, these past decades. An Assistant, even an accomplice." He said and took her hands in his. "Have you ever thought, that there could maybe be more between us?" He asked and his face got closer to hers. She smiled ear to ear and nodded.

"Oh mr. March. Yes. How I've longed for you to ask me this." She was going to continue but he headbutted her.

"You've clearly forgotten your place then!" He yelled. She tumbled and fell. The look of shock, clear as day in her face.

"I don't understand." She whimpered.

James stood over her now taking her hair into one of his hands and dragged her to bedroom. "You've dreamed of me and you? Together? You sicken me!" He yelled as he threw her onto the bed. He crawled on top of her and started strangeling her. She kicked and clawed, but nothing could stop him. He was determined to kill the laundress, and if it was the last thing he did.
