I walked down the halls and wondered where James was right now.
I continued my way and eventually reached Liz at the front desk.

"There you are. Took you long enough." She laughed.

"Chill, would you. I just woke up." I said and yawned.

"Oh boohoo. I'm up since 8." She said and frowned for a second.

"And you don't even look exhausted or tired. How do you do it. I must know your secret." I said and giggled.

"Oh, stop it. You." She laughed.

Our laughter was interrupted when a very handsome young man put his bag down loudly.

"I've got a reservation." He said as he leaned down on the register.

"Well, good morning to you too." I said grumpy.

He looked at his phone and then back at me. "It's like early evening at best."

"Whatever." I said and smiled at Liz.

"Are you gonna tell me your name? I'm no fortune teller." She said and huffed.

"Tristan!" Elizabeth said loudly. My head snapped, and there she was. Walking towards us like the model she was.

"That's me." He said with a cocky smile.

"Alright." Liz said and handed him one of the keys from the shelf behind her.

"Thank you." Tristan said. While Liz slid the keys over to him, they briefly touched hands.

"It's so good to have you." Elizabeth said, and they walked away together.

We starred as they dissappeared into the elevator.
"Is Donovan being replaced again?" I asked and looked at Liz.

"I don't know. Maybe he's just a model for the show tonight." She sighed.

"Show? What show?" I asked, fully focused on her again.

"Do you ever know what's going on?" She asked and judged hard.

"Obviously not." I replied and laughed sarcastically.

"A fashion show." Was all Liz answered. "The Hotels fully booked. It's a private event." She explained.

"Ooh, cool." I said mindlessly.

"You could ask Donovan on the details. And maybe get some tea on that Tristan guy." She said nonchalantly.

"Good idea. Well. See you later then." I said and walked away.

"Bye y/n." She said and went back to reading her magazines.

I checked my phone and saw that Donovan had replied. So he was awake! I went up to his apartment but he wasn't there. That Tristan guy was, though. He and Elizabeth were going at it, so I hurried back into the elevator before anyone could address my presence.
