Chapter 56: To The Spirit World!

The twilight morning looked even more beautiful if someone was standing from a high place. It was the sign of a new day and the sign of a new adventure.
Mackenzie was seated on the rooftop with Nathan and Sloane holding her hands from both sides. Due to the cold wind on the roof, Sloane and Mackenzie had worn thick coats but Nathan only wore a light turtleneck. After all, his body was built like a tank.
"Watching the sunrise with my parents before we leave" Mackenzie sang
"If you stay in the spirit world, you'll find more interesting sights than in the human world" Nathan said
"Then, it must be really pretty" Sloane said as she looked down "It seems the people we've been waiting for, have finally arrived"
"You're right. We better head down now" Nathan said as he picked Mackenzie in his arms "Are you jumping from your side?"
"Yes" Sloane said as she headed in a different direction "I'll see you outside" she added before jumping off
"Why do I feel like mum's different today?" Mackenzie asked while clutching onto Nathan
"She's found her resolve. Let her be" Nathan said as he jumped off and landed on his balcony "Hurry in and grab your bag" he dropped her
"Okay" Mackenzie said

Outside the mansion,
Giselle and Kayden were sitting on their luggage while Commander Henry stood off to the side.
"I can't believe it" Priya shouted as she, Timothy and Lilith had just arrived "We're actually bringing you two kids along"
"I also didn't want to believe it" Kayden complained "But, Commander Henry was already waiting for us in front of our dorm rooms"
"He said we'd die if we didn't come out on time" Giselle said as she sightly nodded her head due to lack of sleep "We had no choice"
"Well then....Ambassador Timothy, I'll leave the two kids in your hands" Henry said before transforming into a wolf and sprinting off
"So, have you kids had breakfast?" Priya asked
"We had some before leaving" Kayden said
"It looks like we got you two into some serious trouble" Lilith said while walking up to them "Sorry"
"No, this is actually a great opportunity for us" Giselle said while completely awake "You and me look like the same age" she grabbed Lilith's hands "How about we be friends?"
"Friends?" Lilith repeated before looking at Timothy for help
"Don't look at me, I'm not the one she asked" Timothy said while not sparing her a glance "Plus, it would be your first time making friends" he said
"I-I....I'll be your friend" Lilith murmured and Giselle lit up "But you're wrong about being the same age. I'm fourteen"
"It's only four years difference. I'm ten" Giselle said before pointing at Kayden "And he's twelve"
"I never gave you permission to be tossing my age around" Kayden complained
"Does it really matter?" Giselle asked "There must be someone in the palace who's just as old as us. Don't you want to make friends?"
"As far as I have you, is there even a need for an additional friend?" Kayden murmured
"Is that a proclamation of love?" Lilith asked smugly
"What the hell are you talking about?" Kayden shouted and the door to the mansion opened
"So you're the person making such a racket" Nathan said as he walked through the door with his duffel bag in hand
"P-p-p-p-p-prince Nathan?" Kayden exclaimed
"The one and only" Cassandra said as she walked out from behind him with Natasha and their bags
"We greet the royal family" Timothy and the others said
"Why were there such loud voices from outside?" Jerald asked as he walked out with his luggage in one hand and his head rested on the other "Do you know what time it is? You people are too loud"
"They're not as loud as you" Rosco mumbled while walking out behind him with his head lowered
"Prince Jerald and Prince Rosco are here too?" Giselle shrieked
"Apparently, there are five royal families staying in this mansion" Priya said
"Five?" Kayden asked
"Yes, five of us" Allen said while walking out "By the way Nathan, why did you pick six in the damn fucking morning?"
"I didn't get enough sleep" Brianna complained as she walked out
"Me neither" Christian said, tailing her
"Count me in" Josey grumbled
"That's because you didn't go to bed early" Clark said
"You were having a lovers quarrel at night" Mary complained
"I couldn't sleep well because of it" Fernanda said
"If you two want to get together, do it already" Alexa said after they got out one by one. "Yesterday will be the last time any of us have to put up with your nonsense" she said
"Who the hell said we wanted to get together?" Josey and Christian shouted
"Your attitude" everyone who had just walked out of the mansion said
"The western royal family, the eastern royal family and the southern royal family are all here" Kayden said with his mouth open
"That's already three" Giselle said "Then this smell and magic power, is that of the magic association's royal family. That makes four"
"Good morning your majesties" Priya said
"Oh. It's you again" Jerald said "Are you also coming along on this trip?"
"I am. Mostly for research purposes" Priya said casually
"You do research?" Alexa asked surprised
"Tim's pulling me along as an assistant and test monkey" Priya said and everyone glared at him
"I'm not going to run any mad scientist experiment on her" Timothy said "I just need a couple of fresh blood samples. Please stop glaring at me"
"Be more straightforward next time" Allen scoffed
"Nathan, where's Sloane and Mickey?" Alexa asked when she noticed they weren't out yet
"At the last second, Kenzie said she had to pee and Sloane wanted to wait for her" Nathan said "Two of the maids should be bringing out their things"
"Who goes to pee at the last second?" Rosco mumbled
"If you don't like it, then stop listening" Mackenzie said as she walked over with Sloane and some maids who carried their bags
"Good morning, Queen Sloane and Princess Mackenzie" Timothy said
"Good morning" the others in his group said
‘The imperial family is here too?’ Giselle and Kayden wondered before looking at each other
"Be careful on your journey, your majesties" the maids said before leaving
"Well then, how are we going to get there with all this luggage?" Christian asked while gesturing to the bags they each had
"You didn't ask a better question, like: 'Clark, will you be teleporting us there?'" Clark said as he stomped on the ground and a magic circle appeared "Do you people want to get left behind? Gather around"
Hearing this, Timothy and the others entered inside the magic circle with their luggage
"Is everyone complete?" Nathan asked
"We're all in the circle" Sloane said "Clark, you're free to teleport us"
"Alright" Clark said and he snapped his fingers. The magic circle lit up brightly and when it settled, they had all left with their bags.

A magic circle appeared some metres away from the spirit world gate, Dominantra. It lit up brightly and after it disappeared, Sloane and the others had appeared with their luggage.
Priya was clutching onto Timothy so much that he could feel her soft bosoms. A blush spread across his face as he slightly gripped the straps of his duffel bag.
"Stop clutching onto my brother like a koala" Lilith said with a frown when she saw Timothy's reaction
"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to" Priya said nervously while letting go of him "I was just a bit scared"
"Please be silent" Sloane said and they kept quiet. "Now, you're here on a mission and we're here to receive special training or...a reeducation of some sort. Right?" she explained
"You're right" Nathan said as he hung his duffel bag over his shoulder
"Either way, we each have to focus on the reason we're heading to the spirit world" Alexa said "In other words, there should be no slacking"
"Wait. This isn't the spirit world?" Priya said and Mackenzie pointed at the shabby old house
"That over there, is a gate" Mackenzie said "I'm supposed to guard the gates of hell. But the spirit world gate is always open. Once you pass through the gates, the spirit world will come into view"
Nathan pat her head and started walking towards the door with the others "So, as you've heard, we're opening that door and walking through" he said
"Once we get through, all our questions will be answered" Sloane said as she reached her hand out and touched the door handle "I'd also like to know, why the spirit king did this to me" she pulled on the handle and the door opened
"Let's go" Nathan said "We've kept Dante waiting" after his words they each walked thought the door in an orderly fashion
The last to enter was Clark and he shut the door behind him
