Chapter 58: Annoying Doll I

After Dante said that, Rielle whispered something into Priya's ear and Priya nodded. She shut her eyes and was in deep concentration. When she opened them again, her hazel eyes had a slight golden glow to it.
"Well done" Rielle praised slightly and several screens appeared in front of Priya "You should be able to use this now. Study the information and share it with either Dante and I".
The screens had a lot of information on those that were there to train. It was simple, spaced out and very very detailed.
"I had Marcus and Rebecca send me information on your bloodline magic so I could improve the field and the 'equipment' being used" Rielle said while staring at Timothy and the other three children he came with "However, I'm missing your data" she said while looking away from him and pointing at Josey
Everyone looked at Josey when they heard this and Josey frowned
"I don't know my bloodline magic" Josey said "Back at the capital, I was told not to ever use my bloodline. I only have six chances to use it. Afterwards, I'll die"
"Do you know your-"
"My father's name is Leon" Josey said and everyone had a shocked expression on their faces "I was created in a lab by some weird researcher. My genes are based using the sperm of Leon and the egg of a witch. They apparently created me to be a weapon"
"But the weapon had a mind of its own and ran off. Huh?" Rielle said with a slight giggle "It's hilarious, but....fine. You'll still have to stop by my lab later, so I can do some tests"
"No problem" Josey said and the others looked at her "What?"
"It's just weird to know you're a weapon" Christian let out "You've never acted like it"
"I'm not an android, dufus" Josey scoffed
"Back to the matter at hand..." Rielle said which brought their attention back to her. A human sized mud doll was standing in front of Rielle as she continued "....This here, is a magic doll" she placed her hand on the shoulder of the doll "It's me, Zoe and Tilly's best work. They've been loading this doll with a lot of magic power and then, with Dante's added magic power and my knowledge, the doll became indestructible and invincible....well, for most"
"The doll?" Christian repeated "Are you serious?"
"This doll has fifty levels. And each of you will start from level one" Rielle said "No matter the amount of magic power, strength, agility, and so on, the doll will match you and place you on level one. This allows everyone to start at the same pace" she said "To make things more fun, the doll has been incorporated with a lot of fighting styles and can copy magical abilities of the person you want to fight. And by that, I mean, everyone gets a personal doll and the doll will gain the appearance, fighting style, physical abilities and magical abilities of the person they hate and want to surpass the most"
After the explanation, most of them had their mouths left hanging open
"Okay, that's one cool doll" Jerald said
"The fact that it's hand to hand combat today, means that the doll has been set to only use it's hands and legs to fight" Dante said "Whatever topic I plan to teach that day, the doll will change its setting to match it. It's the perfect training partner"
"With the time you have here, after the two years, you'll still have to drop by once a week" Rielle said "I want to keep an eye on your progress"
"Fine by us" they all said
"What about Priya?" Timothy asked and Priya looked at him
"The gloves that she's wearing are specially designed to gift a human the ability to use magic and become what's called a mage" Dante said "Very few humans are able to become one. If she has the talent for it, she's develop magic circuits and be able to train and fight with the rest of you"
"Oh" Timothy said before looking away from Priya 'It's better this way'
"So, who will like to go first on the doll?" Rielle asked but nobody raised up their hands or walked forward
"Fine. I'll pick" Dante said and closed his eyes before pointing at Alexa. He opened his eyes and smiled "You first"
Alexa pursued her lips before walking up to the doll and staring at it oddly "What am I meant to do?" she asked
"According to this, you're meant to touch the doll on the head" Priya explained and Alexa did just that
The doll lit up and Alexa retracted her hand and moved away from it. From the doll's legs, human skin could be seen appearing along with clothes
"This is so creepy" Alexa said as she got into a fighting stance while the doll continued changing appearance until it reached the head. Very distinct features of a young man in his twenties, with curly black hair and black eyes, and an average height and frame, came to view. Looking at the person in font of her, her hands and legs shook. And, it wasn't from fear, but from utter surprise.
The others seeing this person, saw that he was amazingly handsome and had a calming look. However, these weren't the only reactions, because Sloane had bitten down, hard, on her lips while Mackenzie tightly gripped Sloane's hand. Fernanda's eyes widened just like the others in Alexa's group.
"Why?" Alexa mumbled as she stared at what her heart had created on the doll.
Because, standing in front of Alexa, was none other than the exact replica of Scott Connor.
"I wonder who that is" Jerald said to Allen "Do you know him?"
"No idea" Allen said "Nathan?"
"I don't know either" Nathan said before glancing at Sloane who was shaking her head "But, he was definitely someone important to Sloane and Kenzie" as soon as he said that, he heard a single word fall out of Mackenzie's mouth
"Brother" she said and Nathan had to take another look at the person. It was then that he remembered seeing Mackenzie and Mrs Connor crying over this person
"It's a normal reaction" Nathan said "After all, this man died a month ago"
Meanwhile, Priya was gathering information from the doll. And several things about Scott appeared. Which made her look up only to act like she had seen a ghost.
"Name: Scott Connor" Dante read out loud "Died a month ago on a camping trip in the forest. He was an incomplete dragon keeper and was a brother, cousin and boyfriend. Alexa's boyfriend, Elias' cousin and Sloane and little Mackenzie's brother"
When the others heard that, they looked at Alexa, Sloane and Mackenzie. Wondering if they were alright with this but the looks on their faces clearly stated how they were feeling.

Alexa almost crumbled but, she forced herself to stand her ground and said "I thought you said that the doll will take the form of the person I hated and wanted to surpass the most"
"I did take on that form" the doll said, clearly using Scott's voice to talk
"How is that possible? I loved this person" Alexa argued while holding back tears
"Deep down in your heart, a part of you hated him" the doll said "On the day you broke up with him, he asked you 'what would happen if I wasn't human?'" the doll continued "Then he left. And when he came back, he was dead in a coffin. The day he left on that camping trip, you told him not to go but he ignored you and didn't even promise to return alive. That's why you hate him. He tossed his life away when you were trying to keep him safe"
"Shut up. Just....shut it" Alexa shouted as she cleaned her tears and took a fighting stance "You're just a doll. And I'm gonna mop the floor with that fake face of yours" she said
The doll also took a stance "Best of luck with that" it said "This body actually has a lot of skill. You're starting from level one"
