Chapter 75: Succubus Chronicles II

Kathy made a casual turn down the street and got occasional glances from different people as she walked passed them. She wasn't in the right state of mind and didn't care about the odd stares she was receiving until, suddenly, she stopped in her tracks and lifted her head to the sky and began to reminisce
'Edward...James....Laura...Reese...Hailey' she thought as tears streamed down the side of her face "Why did you all leave me?" she mumbled as she brought her hands to wipe the tears away

Two Hundred And Fifty Three Years Ago, Northern Tribe
Kathy groaned as she slowly opened her eyes to find herself on a nice red carpet completely tied up. As she looked up, she glared at the man sitting on a throne with her eyes glowing; he had a huge frame which made him look like a brute but his features were gentle with white hair on his head, sea blue eyes and a chiseled jaw. He was Reese Michelle.
Even as a succubus, Kathy had never seen any man or demon more handsome than him. Standing next to Reese, was another man who looked to be in his thirties with curly black hair and blue eyes. He had a clean shaven beard and stood tall, muscular and intimidating. He was none other than James Connor.
A couple of other people began to appear one by one in the room and she noticed that two of the men who appeared, looked like a younger versions of Reese and James. They were Reese's younger brother, Leon and James' younger brother, Edward
"You know, glaring at me won't change the situation you're in" Reese said with a sigh
"Who wouldn't be glaring at you when they're tied up and at your feet?" Kathy asked
"You do know that you're at the center of the whole northern werewolf tribe. Even if you're a high ranking devil, you won't be able to escape from here" Leon said
"Northern tribe? That's good for me too" Kathy said as the bindings that tied her down erupted in pink flames before burning off. She stood up and dusted her clothes "You shouldn't look down on a demon general"
Reese looked unshaken as he sat on the throne however, Leon and most of the council members that had entered the room, took a fighting stance
"It doesn't matter who you are" Leon said as steam was being released from his body
"Think you can stop them?" Edward asked while looking towards James
Leon immediately disappeared from Reese's side and Kathy was already gone. However, just before their fists could clash, James was between them. One of his hands was holding Kathy's two hands above her head, while Leon was on the floor with one of James' foot on his back.
"General James, hope you know that it's royalty you're stepping on" One of the council members said and James glanced at him
"If I chose to, I could kill all of the council members in this room" James said as Kathy stared in awe at his side profile "None of you have any rights against me. I only answer to King Reese"
'Another demon general?' Kathy thought while looking at James when his eyes suddenly landed on her and she noticed that one of his eyes was just like hers
"Since we're of the same species, I hope we can come to an understanding" James said and Kathy nodded blankly
"Get your foot off me" Leon said and James lifted his leg
"I thought I taught you how to treat women?" Reese asked as he took a glance next to him and Leon noticed he was no longer next to Kathy and James but was back at Reese's side, still on the floor
"I'm sorry" Leon said as he lowered his head
"Now that everyone has calmed down, shall we give the succubus a chance to talk?" Reese asked as James let go of her hands and stood behind her
"I'm Kathy, and Vampire Queen Hailey, asked me to deliver a message to King Alpha Reese" Kathy said "I only want to meet him and be on my way"
"Nice to meet you, Kathy, I'm Reese" Reese said from his throne
"You're kidding, right?" Kathy asked with a shocked expression but Reese smiled "But Hailey said you were an old man who has lost his vigor with white hair and some wrinkles"
"Old? I'm only two hundred and sixty seven" Reese chuckled "And my hair is white due to my bloodline magic. Seems like Hailey still likes to joke around every now and then" he said as a small smile painted his lips which didn't go unnoticed by Leon "By the way, how is Hailey?"
'He looks like one hot piece of candy. The ones next to him too and of course, the one behind me' Kathy thought as she fought the urge she had to lick her lips and said "Hailey is fine. She's even getting prettier by the day" she mumbled the last part and James shook his head
"The message" Reese said
"Oh. She said you should prepare for war" Kathy said
"Really? Tell her I'll be visiting tomorrow" Reese said "If that's all, you can leave"
"Brother, didn't you hear what she said?" Leon shouted as he looked at Reese
"Your Majesty..." one of the council members said through gritted teeth "...I can understand you're in a bad mood due to us disturbing you sleep, but do you really refuse to-"
Reese got out from his seat and while standing, he glared at the council members "If you really want to see my bad mood, I dare you to complete that sentence" he warned and the council members began to disperse. Even Leon left the room after mumbling a couple of curses
Edward who was at the back began to laugh hysterically "Did you see the look on their faces?" he asked and James just stared at him
Edward had reddish brown hair, honey eyes and a huge frame. He was average in height but his looks were only humble when he stood next to either James or Reese
"Are you-"
"You can tell right? I'm also a demon general" Edward said, interrupting Kathy
"I wanted to ask if you were this guy's brother...but, what?" Kathy said while gesturing to James who was behind her
"Oh, that? Yes. I'm his brother, Edward" Edward said
"Two? That's almost as much as the ones around Hailey" Kathy mumbled
"There are actually six of us...demon generals here" Edward said
'Six? The werewolves have six?' Kathy wondered
"Stop talking" James said and Reese sighed
"It's about time I returned back to bed" Reese said before looking at James "Can you escort her out? If she goes on her own, Marcus might capture her again and we'll have to go through this one more time"
"Marcus?" Kathy asked
"He's the Duke of the South. Southern King Marcus Kendell" James said as he took her hand and led her out "He's even stronger than me. He captured you"
"Just how strong is this guy?" Kathy asked
"He's almost as strong as Reese" Edward said before spotting Marcus "Oh. There he is" he pointed
As soon as she spotted Marcus, she couldn't suppress her urges so well again and her eyes began to glow as she slowly moved towards Marcus
'This guy, caught me?' Kathy wondered as she stared at Marcus who looked a bit like the current Nathan however, he still wore a frown on his face 'Reese and this guy are on another level'
"Whatever you're thinking...don't" Edward said as he covered her eyes and pulled her towards him "Appearances aside, not even the women here, dare to go near him....except Rebecca. Your charms won't work on him and....he isn't like Reese" he glanced at Marcus again as they walked passed him "Reese is patient. But Marcus....man or woman, if you provoke him, he will kill you"
When Edward took his hands off her eyes, they were already outside of the northern forests
"I'd like to repay you" Kathy said as she stared at James with her glowing eyes
"In your current state, I prefer you don't" James said as he turned her around to face the road
"Yeah...I'm in the same boat. See you tomorrow" Edward said and just like that, him and James were gone
"I didn't even get their names" Kathy thought before she remembered something "Oh. I did get their names. This is gonna be a long night" she mumbled as she licked her lips before two black wings sprouted out from her back and she flew away
The Next Day
Euphoria
Kathy was sitting on a tree branch and watching Hailey through the bedroom window. Hailey had long blonde hair, mismatched eyes of ruby red and emerald green and plump pink lips. She had a nice figure which stood out in her black empire dress.
'Hailey is only two hundred years old and Reese is two hundred and sixty seven. They're both getting old and they're both single yet, nobody can match them in power' Kathy thought before she remembered Marcus 'Inside of that guy, was the power of a devil. It was so strong and choking... then, inside of Reese was something holy...unnatural for a demon to have. The child of those two...I wonder what they will look like if those two are like forbidden candy, already. How powerful will those children be?' she suddenly felt something cold on her cheek and almost jumped however, the other side of her cheek brushed against something rough and she looked up
The cold thing that touched her cheek was a purple beverage Edward was holding while her other cheek had rubbed against James' trousers. Both of them were holding the exact same beverage in their hands
"You okay?" Edward asked with a smile and she puffed her cheeks before taking the beverage from his hand which made him chuckle "What are you? A child?"
"How did the two of you even get here?" Kathy asked as she took a sip from the drink
"Well, you're amazingly weaker than us. That's why you didn't sense us when we arrived two minutes ago" James said with a smile as he squat to her level
"I'll report you to the Queen" Kathy said
"She's a bit busy handling Reese" Edward said as he pointed at Hailey's bedroom window
Kathy took a glance and saw Hailey yelling at Reese while he was simply leaning against the wall and nodding his head as she shouted and walked around the room.
"When did he get in there?" Kathy mumbled before taking a sip of the drink "And why does this taste so good?"
"Reese followed the front door" James said before straightening up
"And that's my seed in a can" Edward said and Kathy almost choked
"Why would you give me that?" Kathy asked hysterically
"Cause you're a succubus?" Edward repeated
"Then...the thing in you and James' can is-"
"Yep. It's from a woman's-"
Kathy screamed in terror "Shut up" she shouted
"You're far more innocent than I thought" James said
"Huh?" Kathy let out
"Edward is messing with you" James said and her eyes widened "What you're drinking is someone's dreams. When you reach my level, you should be able to drag out the dreams of people without having to sleep with them....The state it will come in, depends on you. Don't worry, it won't affect them"
"Oh" Kathy let out as she took another slurp before focusing on Hailey and Reese
"Brother, you said I'd see something interesting if I came with you" Edward said like a little child "Nothing has happened yet. Are we just going to follow Reese around?"
Hailey was still yelling when Reese was suddenly in front of her and had pulled her closer. One of his hands held her waist while the other held her cheek. He caressed her cheek for a while before lowering his head and his lips connected with Hailey. At first she tried to fight back but then, she melted into him and returned the kiss with passion.
Edward and Kathy who were watching from a distance, had their mouths wide open as their drinks poured from between their lips. Kathy then noticed a sudden movement from Hailey's hand
"Get down" Kathy said as she pulled James and Edward by their pants. However, her sudden action had made the two men lose balance and all three of them had fallen off the tree.
Hailey and Reese had pulled away for a while and stared into each others eyes
"There was no need for you to do that" Reese said
"Subordinates aren't meant to be spying on those they swear loyalty to" Hailey said and Reese peck her lips before kissing her far more passionately than last time which she accepted
