"Diana?"

"You have to get up now."

"You're gonna be late for work, Diana."

Annoyed, the woman opened her eyes, staring directly into those of May Grant, Athena's daughter. Just as she was about to ask why she was sleeping on her couch, the memories of the evening the day before flooded her mind.

Right, we actually had a pretty nice dinner. Athena made fast friends with Michael's boyfriend, just because he backed her up in the argument.

Haha, I still find it funny how that woman stood butt naked on the highway. Like wtf, there are different ways to get your husband to listen to you.

I didn't drink that much, though, so why-

Right, the pain medication for my concussion.

"I said get up!"

Groaning, Diana slapped the hand away and sat up. Rubbing her throbbing head in pain, she wobbled out of the living room into the kitchen and sat down at the table, where the others were already gathered, May hot on her trail.

Still groggy, she looked at the man sitting next to her. "Bobby, you're a firefighter and paramedic. Why didn't you stop me when I drank alcohol with pain meds."

"I tried to stop you. You just wouldn't listen."

"Usually you are very persistent with these kind of things."

"Usually, people don't bite me."

"Ugh, whatever."

Diana walked into work with sunglasses on her nose. She borrowed them from May, so they were at least stylish and she didn't look like she had a hangover at first glance.

Walking down the stairs, she fell into step with Captain Anderson. "Hey Cap, nice uniform."

The woman chuckled slightly. "Thanks. I'm doing patrol today with Chen. Sergeant Grey rides with Nolan."

Poor puppies. What I would give to see that.

"Huh, then what about their TO's?"

"They are riding together."

Diana snorted. With a huge grin, she wanted to walk of. "Oh, I've got to see this." Before she could leave the captain behind however, she was grabbed by her collar and pulled back. "Oi, Captain. You should invite me to dinner first."

With an eye roll, the woman gestured over to the gear issuing office. Following her finger, Diana found Chen struggling with four bags and two riffles in her hands. Curious, they walked over to her. "Hey, hey, hey, hey. What are you doing?"

"Planning to move out, Officer," Diana joked, earning an exhausted look.

"Oh, eh, Officer Bradford just told me to set up their shop, as well, so I'm just..."

Captain Andersen rolled her eyes internally, before she stepped back a little and yelled put for the TO's to come over.

Both appeared within seconds, both heads slightly turned down, knowing what they did wrong. "Yes, Captain?"

"Officer Chen is my boot today. Is that perfectly clear?"

Behind her, the two Officers saw Diana, struggling to keep her calm at the scene in front of her. Slightly embarrassed, they answered. "Yes, Ma'm."

"Get your gear."

They quietly did as they were told, when Diana couldn't hold it in anymore. She laughed out loud, when she was suddenly interrupted by the Captain. "What are you laughing about, Detective Ryder? You're the one coming to work hungover. That means extra paperwork."
