I'm kinda in a mood for a Halloween special since, you know, it's Halloween this Thursday, but I planned that for later in the story, so let's just finish up the first season. I'm so exited!

Btw, little spoiler, someone is spending their Halloween in NYC with the Nine-Nine to take part in the legendary Halloween Heist.

Have fun :)

Diana hummed to the music her radio currently played as she got a call from her Sergeant. "Hey, Serge. What's up?"

"Two officers reported a dead body at the central bus station. It's your case. I'll send Park on his way."

"Got it, Sir."

The car was ended and she turned her car around. Luckily, she was near the bus station and only needed about ten minutes to find her way.

"Nolan, Bishop, you reported a body?"

"Yes, Corey Valance. He's laying right there," the Officer nodded, opening the door to the men's bathroom and pointing at the body. "Looks like a homicide to us."

"That's why I'm here," Diana said, stepping closer to the man on the ground. She kneed down to take a good look at his face. "Something is off about this," she mumbled.

"What is it?"

Not looking up, Diana answered him. "I'm not quite sure, I just have a feeling. Let's wait for forensics." She got up and joined the two officers by the door.

The next two minutes they exchanged information about the victim, like who found him and what his family status was.

"Hey, have one of you ever dated a man with kids?"

Talia and Diana shared a glance.

"Relax, this is about Jessica," Nolan explained. "I think I freaked her out today. I suggested she meet Henry."

"I doubt it. My guess is nothing freaks that woman out.."

The Detective crossed her arms. "Job related maybe but... meeting the nearly grown up son of your lover? I don't know. It would freak me out."

"That's why I don't date guys with kids," Bishop nodded.

Suddenly police began wailing outside as several people led by Jessica entered the bulding, many of them dressed up in those biological safety suits.

"What the hell?"

"Hey, you stepped in a bit of a wasp nest," the woman greeted the confused trio. "Did either of you touch the body?"

Nolan lifted his hand as Talia explained:"He did, with gloves on to get the wallet. And Diana turned his head around earlier to get a better look."

"I also had gloves on. What is happening here?"

The officer wanted to question his girlfriend a little more, when a man with a protective suit and big ass mask pushed past them to get into the bathroom.

"Wait, that's an active crime scene."

"That's secondary right now," Jessica said as another woman interrupted their conversation.

"Hi, I'm Dr. Morgan with the CDC. Are you sure you didn't come in contact with the victim's saliva, mouth or any other body fluids?"

Diana and Nolan shared a look, before simultaneously saying:"I'm sure."

"No sign of infection," a voice came from behind them.

"Infection?"

Jessica nodded. "Your victim is part of a homegrown terror cell that the DHS has been tracking, and we believe that they're planning a deadly biological attack on the City of Los Angeles. Please follow doctor Morgan now to get scrubbed down and thoroughly tested. We just want to make sure."
