Kinda forgot about you guys... sorry ( ཀ͝ ∧ ཀ͝ )

Also, it's a little short,
please don't hate on me (Φ ᆺ Φ)

"Hey Diana, back to work?"

"Yes, Buck, and you cannot possibly stop me," Diana rolled her eyes. "As you tried to do so many times before."

"I just think that... you know, after the virus-"

"Which I didn't have."

".... and the broken ankle-"

"It was really only a sprain."

".... you could take some more time off," her roommate argued, continuesly ignoring the remarks that were thrown his way. "Maybe you could visit your family in Texas or see your friends in New York. Do what you want to do."

Diana sighed. "Buck, what I want to do is to GO TO WORK!"

"Knock, knock, looks like Buck is at it again," Eddie said as he walked into the room with his son Christopher by his side.

"He always tries to stop her from working," the boy grinned, squealing in delight as Diana wrapped her arms around him in a greeting. Instead of letting him go, she picked him up and sat him down on the counter.

"Try this."

Before he could react, a piece of chocolate was melting on his tongue. "That's so sweet," he laughed. "Do you have more?"

"Chris, you already had your five pieces of candy for the day," his father scolded from afar. As he turned away to continue his conversation with Buck, Diana quickly put a handful of little chocolate pieces and shoved it into the boy's pocket.

"Psh, don't tell dad, okay?"

"Okay," he whispered back.

"We wanna go now, you guys ready?"

Diana quickly helped Chris down the counter and they walked hand in hand towards their two friends, where she guided the boy towards Buck and picked up her own bag. "Let's go."
_

"You sure?"

"Yes."

"Really? Cause-"

"Buck, let go of her now," Eddie interrupted him a little harshly. "We're in this parking lot for seven minutes now. We didn't even need five when we dropped Chris off and at this rate, we're going to be late for work ourselves."

Diana chuckled at his outburst before giving both of them a quick peck on the cheeks. "Have a good day at work guys. Be careful."

"You too."

After forcing herself to smile till they were out of view, she was more than happy to finally drop that and rest her facial muscles.

"Your roommate?"

The detective jumped at the sudden noise, but calmed down quickly when she found no one else but Bradford standing next to her. "Yeah, he's not that happy that I'm back to work."

"Like your brother."

She rolled her eyes. "You just had to tell him about the virus."

Like her, he also rolled his eyes. "Well, he asked where I got the black eye and we kind of came to the reason why we were in hospital in the first place."

"Yeah, Grace told me you've been video chatting and calling each other like little girlfriends."

As they talked, they slowly made their way inside, stopping in front of the big staircase where their ways would part.
