"Aurora. Please, you've got to understand. " Xavier pleaded his long hair sweeping across his eyes, and he shook his head.
I understand. I do. I just can't get the words out. I just don't understand why father wouldn't allow them to be together.
"I do. I understand. " I managed to get the words out. Xavier lets out a massive sigh of relief.
"Good. You don't know how happy I am now that I know I can trust you. I would like you to meet someone. " He said whilst turning around and walking over to a bookshelf, pulling down a book. CRANK BANG was all you heard as a secret door behind the bookshelf appeared.
In disbelief, I say, "What.... what!!...."
Thinking this wasn't happening, I shook my head and rubbed my eyes, not believing what I just saw.Xavier laughed as he reached into the dark doorway, grabbed a hand, and gently pulled a woman out.
We looked at each other and I realised it's Rosanna. Xavier closes the doorway back up so it's a bookshelf again and stands next to Rosanna, wrapping an arm around her waist as she smiles and looks up at him.
In that moment, I could tell how in love they were. Being told that they weren't allowed together at the start to sneaking off and joining each other on the trip. Against all odds, they stuck together and will until they die.
Xavier goes to say something, but I interrupt before he could.
"No. Before you start, I just want you to know that I won't say anything. I can tell you love each other, and I'm not going to stop that, but be careful. If I can, I'll help you, but I can't promise anything. " I say, looking at them both
"We understand. Thank you. We're being careful. No one knows I'm here. Only the crew and well you now too, " Rosanna replied back.
"Good. Well, now that you've met each other, tell me about everything that's happened here the last few years. " Xavier said, taking my hands as we all sat on the chairs by the window hidden away. Out of view.

Two hours passed after talking about what's happened in each others lives. Hearing them talk just made me wish I was there. It was amazing.
"It was a boring day. We anchored down for the afternoon along the Mediterranean Sea, awaiting to set sail to France. Your idiot of a brother decided to challenge one of the boys on board. It took 45 minutes for someone to lose. They both went round and round the deck, chasing each other. Jumping over the ropes and grabbing onto the pillars. But one clash from the other man's sword and your brother tripped and got his foot caught in the rope. The rope lifted him into the air, where he dangled for a minute. Well, until the man thought it was alright to let him down. " Rosanna laughed, remembering the memory from a few months ago. My brother, on the other hand, didn't look too happy.
"Oh please, I would have won if the rope wasn't all over the floor. He was in charge of them!" Xavier stood up, throwing his arms up like a child throwing a tantrum. Me and Rosanna laughed loudly. "Who was he?" I asked.
Rosanna was about to say when we heard the library door open. We looked at each other, and Xavier pulled Rosanna up, and they both went to hide behind the column whilst I quickly went to sit down in front of my painting, pretending that I'm finishing it off.
King Henry, my father, walked around the corner and walked over to where I was sitting and stood behind me.
"Well, my dear. You really do have talent, don't you. That's Contessa. Isn't it? " He traces the lines of the painting carefully.
