Screaming. Shouting. Banging. Hitting. That's all I heard for the first few hours we've been in here. I don't even know what the time was. There were no windows in our small cell, just pitch black.

"Xavier." I whispered quietly when I realised he wasn't next to me. I sit up, looking around until I see him standing by the gate whispering to someone. Xavier heard me stand up because he moved to the side, and I realised he was talking to Wilfred.

"How's Jake." I asked, moving to stand in front of Xavier, who wrapped an arm around my waist protectively when the screaming got louder.

"Livid. Angry. Everything. We had to drag him away back to the Clifford's when Kingston told us what happened because he tried to run into the castle. Eveyrone is at the Clifford's all awaiting for you to leave tomorrow." Wilfred said.

"Make sure Aurora has fresh clothes. She's freezing." Xavier said to Wilfred, who nodded his head.

"Of course. This isn't right. The sooner we leave, the better." Wilfred said but stopped when we heard footsteps.

"Be careful." I whispered as he ran up the stairs not getting caught.

"Everyone is livid. They're all planning. I gave permission for Wilfred to sneak into my bedroom to get my documents and get them to Jake, who already knows the plan." Xavier whispered to me. I nodded my head. It was freezing. I tried to wrap the cloak more over me, but nothing was working.

We were silent, listening to the screaming around us. I walked back over to the bed and sat with my knees to my chest.

"You don't belong in here." Xavier said, walking over to me and sitting next to me and holding my hand

"It's worth it." I say, tracing the veins on his hand. Xavier shakes his head.

"They didn't need to treat you like that either." Xavier growls.

"Don't. What's done is done." I say, closing my eyes and leaning my head against the damp wall.

"I can't wait to win and shove it in their snobby faces." Xavier says. I nod agree after how they've killed our mother.

"Did Wilfred say what the time was." I asked.

"It's 6 pm now. Got 16 hours left in this place before we're allowed out." Xavier looks at me. I pulled a face at what he said.

"I'm cold." I say, resting my head on Xaviers shoulder.

"I know. If only they let you change." Xavier replies before standing up and going to the gate again.

"GUARD." Xavier shouted a few times for someone to come.

"Yes." Was all the man said.

"Go up to Queen Geneva and ask if my sister can have some clothes. She might get sick down here. She's getting married in a few days' time." Xavier told the guard, who nodded his head and walked away without saying a word.

"Do you think that's going to work." I ask, and my brother walks over to me and wraps his arms tightly around my body, giving me some warmth.

We stayed like that for a while until we heard movement coming down the stairs. We looked at the same time seeing Prince Christian coming down.

"You've asked for some clothes." Chrisitan cockily says, coming to the gate. He waits for it to be opened before walking inside as Dominic waits outside.

"Yes. She's freezing Chrisitan, and if you had a heart, you would let her change after the torture you put her through upstairs." Xavier says, standing up in front of me.
