Chapter 30

"Aurora. Baby, we've got to wake up." I opened my eyes seeing Jake looking down at me smiling. I groaned and put my head back under his chin, not wanting to wake up.

"I'm comfy." I mumbled. I feel the vibrations of Jake's chuckle, which makes me smile widely and play with his neck chain.

"I know. I am, too, but Xavier has just come in saying breakfast is ready and we'll be leaving in two hours." Jake whispered, stroking my hair softly. I took it down from the plait last night as it started to give me a headache.

"Good job. we stayed in most of our clothes." I whispered before sitting up reluctantly. Jake laughs, swings his legs off the bed, and stands up stretching.

"Arms up." Jake says, holding my belt. I laugh and stand in front of him as he wraps it around our baby for protection.

"Still doesn't feel real." I whispered as Jake kneels down and puts his hands on my waist.

"Good morning." Jake whispered before kissing my stomach a few times. I giggle as Jake holds me tighter before he stands up and kisses my lips.

"You're beautiful." Jake says, wrapping his arms fully around my waist.

"You're handsome." I replied, smiling before kissing his lips again.

"Knock knock." Xavier jokingly says, opening the door. I smile and run to my brother and give him a tight hug.

"Good morning." I say laughing as Xavier picks me up and spins me around slowly before putting me back down.

"How are you feeling." Xavier asks, as Jake wraps an arm around my waist and rests on my tummy.

"Nauseous, but it's faint for the moment." I replied, leaning my head back against Jake's shoulder.

"Do you want any food." Jake asks, moving away from me to put on his blue vest. I nodded eagerly, and my belly rumbled as soon as he said food. The men laughed before Xavier opened the door again, and we walked through, walking downstairs to the others.

"Good morning." I shouted, walking down the stairs. Everyone says morning back when I'm fully down.

"Here." Adrian says, passing me a plate of pancakes. My eyes widen, and I squeal happily, making everyone laugh as I wrap an arm around his neck.

"Thank you. Are there strawberries." I ask happily, walking over to the table to sit with Rosanna.

"Here." Orion says, passing me some. I smiled widely at him and started to eat happily.

"Happy wife. Happy live." I hear Desmond say to Jake, who was staring at me as I ate with a smile on his face.

"Are you coming with us." I ask Damien as I walk over to sit in Jake's lap.

"Sadly no. We've got to go back to Devuniake. We're not allowed to travel to Aldeshi with you either. If you need us after we'll be there." Damien replies back. I frown and couldn't help but release a tear that fell.

"You'll see us again, Aurora." Gerald says, putting his hand on mine. I smiled in return before sitting more comfortable on Jake.

"We'll leave in an hour." Xavier says, standing up after finishing his breakfast.

"I'll be back." Julia says, standing up quickly with Joshua following.

"Something we've got to get used to." Wilfred says, looking at the door they just ran in.

"How are you feeling, Aurora?" Juliet asks when she noticed my face and how I swallowed. Jake knew immediately and stood me up, allowing me to run to the nearest bin and throw everything back up.
