"Aurora breathe." Jake whispered while turning me around to face him while cupping my cheeks to keep me looking at him.
"You need to go." Storm said, coming towards us with a serious expression.
"AURORA." The sound of Caleb screaming my name got my attention, and in an instant, I started to run as fast as I could towards the courtyard where I could see guards carrying Caleb to a carriage.
"BACK PACKS." Xavier shouted behind me as we got closer. I turned to see Thomas leading Desmond, Jacob, and some crew members away to get what I assumed our backpacks.
"AURORA." Caleb cried as I jumped up onto the carriage and took his hand in mine. A body sat down next to me, so I turned and saw Jake, Adrian, and Joesph getting in with me as the others started to jump up on horses.
"This isn't goodbye. We will see you again." Queen Ravenna said, touching the back of the carriage. I looked at her with tears in my eyes before nodding at her as I couldn't move.
"Thank you for looking after us." Jake answered for me. Ravenna smiled before pulling away as everyone else came back and started to throw the backpacks into the other carriage where the girls, Connor and Louis, were sitting.
"Have a safe journey. I'll keep an eye out for the announcement. The fall of the Alantisha family." Storm said dramatically. I couldn't help but laugh before looking down to Caleb, who started to close his eyes again.
"Get him out of here. The longer he is here. The more pain he'll be in." Alexander demanded before ordering for the gates to be opened.
"THANK YOU." Xavier shouted before kicking his horse, and I could hear him riding. Our carriage jolted, which nearly made me fall into Jake, but he kept me upright as Desmond pulled the reigns, and we were off too.
"Let's go." Joseph said with a hint of excitement as we got closer to the gates.
"He's unconscious." I whispered while pushing some hair from Caleb's eyes as Jake rubbed my thigh.
"GOOD BYE OAKPORT." Connor yelled as we ride past the gates. I smiled and looked at the castle one last time as the gates started to close on us.
"Onto saving your father." Jake whispered as I looked up before wrapping my left arm around his neck and pulling his face down to mine.
"I love you." I whispered as our lips brushed. Jake smiled before leaning down and connecting our lips softly before pulling away.
"I love you too." Jake whispered back before we leaned back and saw we were going to the same way we came.
Within half an hour, we reached the abandoned house. we stayed for a few hours until Storm and Alexander ambushed us.
"Why does the journey back always go quicker." Adrian muttered as we all turned our heads at the house. The door was still kicked in, as well as the windows busted.
"We were walking too, remember." I said before shaking from the cold slightly. Jake moved closer and pulled me into his chest.
"This was different." Joseph said as we turned right instead of left and went towards the rocks.
"More safer." Jake responded as he pulled out the map and showed us all.
Another ten minutes went by, and we rode past where Jake and I reunited. I squeezed Jake's hand tightly as we went past before looking behind as the smell of sea air hit me.
"I missed this." I whispered before turning my body more and allowed my hair to blow with the wind.
Jake chuckled next to me before he looked at where I'm looking as we watched the waves hit the rocks below us.
