Me and Queen Isabella Mary Winslowe, my mother. Walked down the hallway towards the double doors that led to the courtyard. The guards open the doors for us, and we walk down the steps. I go right, and mother goes left around the statue that was in the middle.

The carriage was already waiting for us, and so was my father. He was standing there with his crown and dress robes looking like a strong king. I look around seeing servants rushing around preparing everything for tonight.

We walk towards my father, and he immediately wraps mother into his arms before releasing her and looking towards me. I run over and hug him tightly. He leans away before kissing me on the cheek.

King Henry, my father. Takes my mother's arm and escorts her to the carriage. He helps her in before turning to me, holding out his arm, and helping me into the carriage as well. When we were settled, he got himself in. Not even a second later we were off out of of the castle gates and towards the beach where our dock is and where we'll be seeing the Ship Contessa and greeting my brother and his crew back home.

When we went past the villages, there was screaming from everyone, little children were waving flags, and some adults were just waving. It was lovely to see.

My hands started to hurt after waving at everyone. My parents both waving too appreciating the outcome of who attended. We got closer to the port and could see the council and other kings and queen lined up awaiting our arrival. In the distance on the sea, you could see the ship making its way over.

I started to feel nervous, not knowing how to feel about seeing my brother again. But I was ready to see him and tell him all what's happened the past few years. Thinking about that made me relax, knowing Xavier will be home now for a while.

We arrived ten minutes later, and my father helped us out of the carriage. We then walk over to the other Kings and Queens and council men to greet and shake hands with them.

Stopping behind my father, who spoke to the King and Queen of Alantisha, who are known by others, are the greedy kingdom. Especially their son Prince Christian.

During the conversation, I do hear "It's all coming into place," which I wonder what that could be about.

When I finished greeting everyone, I went to find my place on the beach. From where I stand, I could see everyone running around preparing to come to shore for the first time in five years. I look up at the flags seeing a figure up there. They were bringing them in as they didn't need them now.

It took ten minutes for the flags to be up, and Contessa got closer and closer, preparing to drop anchor. The figure that I was watching finished his job, and instead of going down the ladder like a normal person, he grabbed onto a rope that connected to the sails and flied down. My eyes widen thinking he's going to hurt himself, but he goes behind a wall so I can't see anymore.

My heart beats fast, but it slows down, and I let out a sign of relief when I see him walking up the stairs towards a man with long hair who was steering the wheel. They laugh at something, and the long-haired man throws his head back laughing. Looking more closely at the man I behind to feel stupid, he's actually my older brother, Prince Xavier.

I'm pulled from my thoughts by a hand touching my shoulder. I turn around and smile, seeing it's my friend Princess Maeve. We've been friends since birth, that's what we say anyway. Sadly, her mother passed away about four years ago from a raid. A man called Dominic was arrested, but he escaped, and he hasn't been found since.

"I'm so happy he's coming home! Even more excited about the celebrations tonight, " she winked at me, saying that. She's got her eyes on Prince Louis. They're not the best together, but I'm happy for her. They just have so many arguments.
