Chapter 38

"Wake up." My eyes opened as I gasped, feeling mine and Jake's body being shaken roughly. In an instant Jake grabbed our sword from behind me and swung.

"Calm down." Wilfred said as I looked up, seeing him move out of the way from our sword almost hitting him. Jake groaned while lowering our sword and putting his head back against the pillow as I looked at everyone else, looking confused.

"What's happened." Xavier demanded Wilfred as I feel Jake pull out gently and start to pull up his trousers. When he was sorted I then pulled my leggings up and watched as Jake stood up and looked around.

"Christian. Joshua and Chris have gone in the direction they are headed." Wilfred said as Jake looked down at me before taking my arms and pulling me up.

We all immediately followed silently, apart from Louis and Juliet, who were going to stay behind. My feet crunched under the leaves and as I looked down I realised I was still barefoot as there was no time to put on my boots.

Wilfred walked in front and showed us where Joshua and Chris were laying down and looking down below them. As we got closer Joshua turned and held a finger to his lips as Rosanna accidently trod on a stick.

"Slowly." Joshua whispered when we got closer. My grip tightens on Jake's hand, who looks down at me and begins to pull us over to the two men.

"They're down there." Chris whispered as we all kneeled down and looked over the hill to see Christian and his guards still asleep. Only one man was keeping watch and he wasn't doing a very good job as he had his eyes closed.

"That man who attacked me is still alive." I whispered in disbelief when I saw the ginger man who attacked me. Everyone turned to see where I was looking, and I felt Jake and Xavier tense up when we saw the man sleeping.

"I'm going to kill him." Jake growled, but before he could do anything, I kissed his shoulder, and he calmed down but pulled me closer to him.

"Christian is waking up." Vanessa whispers, and we all quickly duck back down when Christian looks around in his sleeping bag.

"EVERYBODY UP." Christian shouted, and the guards started to wake up. Dominic walks forward from around the corner, and I then realise that he wasn't asleep and was holding a water bottle in his hands.

"We must leave and bring our princess home." Dominic growled, and the guards nodded and got to work with packing up.

"To hell with that." Joseph whispers, which made me smile when I heard him and the others nodded in agreement.

"I need to change my clothes. Want to look my best for my wife." Christian said, looking in a mirror. I felt sick hearing his words and gagged, which made Jake cover my mouth as Christian looked up to where we were.

"Sick." Rosanna whispered when Christian looked away and went through his bag for new clothes. We all looked away as Christian changed into a black shirt and black trousers before turning around when he was changed.

"I want her back in my arms. She fitted perfectly against my chest. I want to recreate that sensational moment of touching her sensitive part." Christian said, and this time Jake growled, which made me cover his mouth. Jake looked into my eyes, and I saw his eyes darkening in anger.

"Horse shit." Vanessa whispered, which made me giggle, and Xavier covered my mouth as my hands were still covering Jake's.

"Aurora always has a smile on her face, master." Dominic said as Christian looked back up to where we were watching them again.

"Her gigging is my favourite sound. Aurora moaning my name in our bed is one I can't wait to hear. I did have her moaning as I pleasured her the same night with the powder." Christian said, and Jake growled again with his eyes dark. Joshua and Thomas held Jake down as he was ready to run down and kill Christian.
